Maintain and repair mechanical equipment at a wastewater treatment plant. Responsibilities include diagnosing breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, servicing pumps, completing field-based mechanical work, and supporting reliable plant operations in a safety-focused industrial environment.

Carry out drainage maintenance: unblock and clean pipes with high-pressure jetting and vacuum loading, maintain pump stations, perform civil repairs and manhole replacements, use CCTV to diagnose faults, respond to urgent call-outs, and engage professionally with customers while following health and safety practices.

Leads project accounting and capital reporting across a multibillion-dollar infrastructure portfolio. Oversees financial stewardship, forecasting, cost and funding visibility, governance reporting, performance analytics, reporting automation, and financial controls. Partners with Finance, delivery, governance, and executive stakeholders to provide trusted investment insights and challenge forecasts. Manages and develops project accounting and reporting teams while improving systems, data integrity, and decision-making processes.

Own financial performance, forecasting, cost reporting, and governance across a portfolio of major capital projects. Reconcile project controls with ERP data, lead forecasting and month-end cycles, analyze variances and risks, support capitalization and asset handover, and advise project managers on financial decisions, compliance, and forecast accuracy.

Maintains and improves wastewater network infrastructure through network and fault-data analysis, capital renewal and improvement projects, maintenance-program optimization, asset compliance, contractor monitoring, incident response, and stakeholder communication. The role combines operational engineering, asset management, infrastructure project delivery, and participation in an after-hours on-call roster.

Lead programme-level resource consenting strategies and end-to-end approvals for major infrastructure projects. Provide expert Resource Management Act advice, oversee multidisciplinary teams and consultants, engage mana whenua, regulators, councils and communities, and mentor consenting professionals. The role also monitors legislative developments and provides strategic guidance to support Watercare’s complex, long-term infrastructure delivery programmes.

Lead the Growth and Development Improvement Programme on a two-year fixed-term contract. Design and deliver improvements to growth-related decisions, governance, digital experience, stakeholder engagement and processes. Manage programme scope, budget, risks, timelines and reporting, and advise executive leaders while building alignment across internal teams and external partners.

Support the reliability, performance, safety, and compliance of Auckland’s water network. Responsibilities include analyzing fault data, supporting capital renewal and works planning, monitoring infrastructure delivery, managing incidents, reviewing standards compliance, supporting environmental and customer service targets, and participating in an after-hours on-call roster.

Lead and deliver financial, operational and compliance audits across the organisation. Evaluate controls, risks and compliance, prepare clear audit reports, recommend practical improvements, and use data analytics. Manage audit planning, stakeholder engagement, mentor team members, and contribute to special advisory projects.
