The role coordinates financial, schedule, risk, performance, and portfolio data; analyses investment scenarios, affordability, risks, and delivery constraints; supports executive, governance, and regulatory reporting; and improves modelling, reporting, and data-quality processes.

Leads feasibility, planning, governance, and development of large-scale infrastructure programmes valued from hundreds of millions to billions. The role manages strategic options, investment planning, business cases, risks, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, executive reporting, and preparation for delivery. It requires influencing executives, boards, regulators, consultants, communities, and delivery teams while navigating ambiguity and supporting long-term infrastructure objectives.

Leads technical planning and strategic development of biosolids servicing solutions across Watercare’s wastewater network. Responsibilities include supporting the Mangere Biosolids Servicing Project, optimizing and planning landfill closure, developing site-specific options, managing technical workstreams, overseeing projects, reporting, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and advancing sustainable resource recovery initiatives.

Supports change planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness assessments, workshops, feedback analysis, adoption tracking, and project documentation for the Donesafe implementation. The role helps impacted teams transition to new processes, supports leaders and managers, coordinates change activities with project milestones, and maintains accurate change plans, action registers, and stakeholder information.

Provides administrative support for procurement activities, including maintaining supplier, contract, item, and purchase order information; processing receipts and invoices; resolving discrepancies; monitoring procurement enquiries; maintaining records and reporting; and supporting compliance with procurement policies. The role requires strong administration, data-entry, communication, organisation, systems, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Leads Watercare’s enterprise cyber and information security capability, including strategy, risk management, governance, assurance, security monitoring, incident response, identity and access management, regulatory compliance, security awareness, and executive reporting. The role advises senior leaders and Board committees, coordinates incident recovery, embeds security-by-design across technology and business operations, and engages with regulators and external cyber agencies.

Lead Watercare’s climate transition strategy, including climate transition planning, decarbonisation, resource efficiency, climate risk and resilience initiatives. Translate strategy into implementation plans, embed climate requirements into investment and asset management decisions, coordinate executive and Board reporting, manage disclosures, influence stakeholders, and oversee specialist consultants and sustainability programmes.
