Temporary full-time clinical externship for BScN/PN students to work as unregulated care providers under direct nurse supervision. Assist with activities of daily living, observe and report patient status, provide orientation to patients/families, attend meetings/education, and follow infection prevention and safety practices.

Drive clinical workflow design, review and validate order sets and documentation, participate in testing, support physician training and go-live, gather physician feedback, and collaborate with clinical informatics, nursing, and leadership to ensure safe, practical HIS configuration and physician adoption.

Site-based nurse leader who represents frontline nursing during a Health Information System implementation. Duties include workflow analysis, validating clinical content, testing, training support, go‑live peer coaching, site communication, and collaboration with project and clinical leadership to ensure safe, nurse-aligned HIS configuration.
