Perform forensic analysis of computers, mobile devices, storage media, and cloud systems; collect and preserve digital evidence; maintain chain of custody; apply forensic methodologies and troubleshooting; collaborate with law enforcement, corrections, and prosecutors; ensure compliance with legal standards, search and seizure law, and investigative protocols.

Perform technical plan review for transportation infrastructure within county right-of-way, ensuring conformance with road design and construction standards. Coordinate with engineers-of-record via electronic plan review, provide technical guidance, assign/review work of technical staff, and ensure regulatory compliance for maintenance, capital, development, and other infrastructure projects.

Serve as a command-level executive managing a division (Investigations, Patrol, Jail, or Professional Standards) of the Sheriff’s Office. Set division objectives, direct operations, develop policies and programs, prepare budgets, and lead personnel. Ensure public safety through oversight of law enforcement services, community partnerships, and administrative functions.

Provide strategic leadership for countywide HR programs including talent, learning, labor relations, compensation, benefits, HR technology, and risk management; partner with executive leadership, develop workforce strategy and policies, ensure compliance with employment law, advise on collective bargaining, and lead and develop the HR team to align HR initiatives with county priorities.

Provide project coordination and organizational support for Health and Human Services projects and large capital initiatives. Duties include facilitating meetings, tracking deliverables, contract and grant oversight, data collection and analysis, stakeholder outreach, training coordination, and supporting project managers to ensure timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements are met.

Provide journey-level legal support to felony prosecutors: prepare files and legal documents, manage discovery and digital evidence, assist with case intake, subpoenas, court filings, and trial preparation while following court rules and office standards.

Provide comprehensive civil legal services for County departments, handling litigation from investigation through appeal. Research legal issues, draft pleadings, manage discovery and depositions, represent the County in hearings, trials, mediations, and administrative proceedings, and advise county clients on legal and risk-management matters.

Lead and deliver complex IT infrastructure and enterprise software projects (data centers, networks, servers, storage, cloud, security, DR). Manage vendors, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications; develop playbooks, standards, templates, and training to improve repeatable project delivery.

Support Finance Operations (AP/AR/payroll/treasury) performing cost allocation, financial reporting, account analysis and reconciliation. Participate in financial systems development and testing, train users, evaluate accounting systems, implement process and control changes, and ensure compliance with public sector accounting and internal control practices.

Supervise and support a caseload of justice-involved adults by enforcing supervision conditions, conducting assessments and investigations, developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, documenting casework, collaborating with courts and service providers, and performing field security and self-defense duties. Must communicate in Spanish and English and participate in required training and certifications.

Administer employee medical leave and workplace disability accommodation programs, ensuring compliance with OFLA, FMLA, PLO, ADA and other regulations. Manage full scope of leave cases, provide guidance to employees and leaders, use HR information systems and case‑management tools, document complex cases, prioritize high volume workloads, and support accurate, timely case outcomes with compassion and critical thinking.
