Leads Washington County’s Human Resources Department and serves on the County Leadership Team. Supports and optimizes Washington County’s Workday HCM and Applicant Tracking System. Responsibilities include end-user support, troubleshooting, business process configuration, reporting, user security management, data integrity, testing, upgrades, integrations, and enhancement deployments. The role partners with HR, recruiting, IT, and stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions, manage HRIS projects, develop training materials, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Supports criminal prosecution operations through legal case data entry, quality control, electronic case-file creation, court-document processing, records research, and real-time court tracking. Reviews and corrects case information, manages reports and supplemental documents, maintains profiles and sentencing records, and monitors hearings and communications. Provides training, mentors team members, supports specialized diversion and deflection processes, and handles sensitive criminal justice materials while collaborating with attorneys, law enforcement, and court personnel.

Leads, plans, organizes, and manages law enforcement operations across patrol, investigations, jail administration, criminal records, internal services, and other Sheriff’s Office functions. Supervises and develops personnel, manages performance and corrective action, oversees projects and budgets, builds community and interagency relationships, and addresses complex administrative and operational issues. The role requires advanced law enforcement certification, supervisory certification, extensive law enforcement experience, and successful completion of assessment, background, driving, and firearms requirements.

Leads Washington County’s Community Corrections Department, overseeing probation, parole, residential and victim services, budgeting, staffing, compliance, labor relations, strategic planning, and community partnerships. The Director promotes evidence-based practices, staff development, wellness, accountability, and public safety while guiding approximately 150 employees and managing a $36 million budget.
