Design immersive VR interfaces, service experiences, fleet management applications, and operational tools for general-purpose robots. Conduct user research, usability testing, prototyping, and validation while collaborating with engineering and operations teams. Establish design systems, standards, and culture as an early design hire, with emphasis on human factors, human-robot interaction, operator trust, situational awareness, and usability in complex real-time environments.

Design and build in-headset spatial interfaces and audio experiences for remote robot operators. Develop takeover and handback workflows, comfort and awareness features, telemetry, prototypes, tests, and release-quality improvements. Collaborate with robotics, AI, teleoperation, graphics, infrastructure, designers, and external XR partners. Optimize visual quality against framerate, power, and latency constraints, conduct operator studies, and support field headset troubleshooting.

Deploys, operates, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains robots in customer and production environments. Owns enterprise deployments, diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues, documents failures, supports site operations, develops service procedures, validates system updates, and partners with engineering and operations teams to improve reliability and serviceability. Requires hands-on field experience with complex electromechanical systems and up to 50% travel.

Leads cross-functional Business Operations projects spanning Facilities, Legal, Procurement, HR, Finance, IT, EH&S, and Talent Acquisition. Owns project execution, timelines, dependencies, risks, stakeholder communication, change management, reporting, dashboards, and process documentation. Builds project management frameworks and tracking systems, coordinates handoffs, supports leadership visibility, and drives progress across teams through influence rather than formal authority.

Owns Walden Robotics’ corporate security program, including CrowdStrike operations, incident response, vulnerability management, third-party assessments, AWS security, SOC 2 readiness, risk management, security awareness, and vendor coordination. The role is the first dedicated information security hire and requires hands-on technical execution, cross-functional leadership, policy development, audit support, threat modeling, and mentoring.

Own complex, multi-site enterprise robotics customer programs from scoping through production deployment and early adoption. Lead cross-functional technical, operational, and business stakeholders; manage customer relationships, KPIs, health, issue escalation, and deployment success. Translate field insights into product requirements, advocate for customer needs, mentor teammates, and establish repeatable Customer Success processes. The role requires frequent domestic site travel and hands-on technical communication with executives and field operators.

Owns HR operations and people infrastructure, including HRIS administration, benefits, multi-state compliance, employee relations, offboarding, immigration support, onboarding coordination, vendor management, and process scaling. Serves as the primary HR contact for employees and managers and will eventually manage an HR Coordinator.

Build and deploy AI agents, analytical tools, and automated workflows for strategy, deal sourcing, market intelligence, CRM operations, due diligence, and executive decision-making. Collaborate with the CSO and cross-functional teams while contributing to Walden’s shared agent platform. Own agent feedback loops, evaluations, observability, optimization, and reusable infrastructure using modern LLM tools, Python, data engineering, APIs, and workflow automation.

Support the design, prototyping, integration, testing, and debugging of electrical systems for humanoid robots. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, hardware assembly, soldering, lab instrumentation, validation, data analysis, documentation, and collaboration with mechanical, firmware, and controls engineers. The role offers early-career engineers opportunities to develop broad technical ownership across compute, sensing, power, and motor-drive systems.

Own end-user IT across device lifecycle, identity and access, onboarding, Tier 1/2 support, service management, workplace technology, A/V, inventory, and automation. Serve as the escalation endpoint across Linux, macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android; lead cross-functional IT projects, manage contractors and vendors, maintain documentation and SLAs, and continuously improve support quality for a growing robotics organization.

Build and manage trusted relationships with investors, partners, collaborators, and other external stakeholders. Coordinate executive visits, partner engagements, meetings, site visits, delegations, agendas, briefing materials, communications, and follow-up. Support cross-cultural collaboration, especially with Japanese partners, including translation and localization needs. Maintain engagement records and represent Walden Robotics professionally while handling sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.

Lead cross-functional technical execution across hardware, software, and AI teams. Own the engineering roadmap, dependencies, timelines, operating cadence, OKRs, and technical synchronization. Support the CTO and senior technical leaders by preparing decisions, managing information flow, tracking follow-through, and removing blockers. Build scalable processes, workflows, and visibility systems that improve coordination, accountability, and execution across the engineering organization.

Provide high-level support to C-suite executives by managing complex calendars, meetings, travel, communications, expenses, confidential information, and cross-functional initiatives. Serve as a trusted strategic partner, coordinate stakeholders, resolve scheduling and operational issues, prepare executive materials, and support events and special projects. Use AI and automation tools to streamline executive workflows and improve organizational efficiency.

Design, analyze, prototype, test, and release robotic mechanical components and subassemblies, including mechanisms, joints, structures, housings, bearings, and sensor packaging. Own designs from concept through production while applying CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, hand calculations, and FEA. Collaborate with systems, controls, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, suppliers, and external partners on integration, validation, troubleshooting, and high-volume production.
