Perform stainless-steel and carbon-steel fabrication including TIG and MIG welding, read prints and Welding Procedure Specifications, perform weld mapping and recordkeeping, use precision measuring tools (Faro Arm), follow Nuclear Quality Assurance processes, complete quality verifications, and support process improvements. May perform TIP TIG and laser welding with oversight and use basic MRP systems.

Perform site evaluations, installations, start-ups, troubleshooting, and optimization of Wagstaff casting equipment. Analyze molten metal quality data to recommend process adjustments, train customers and staff, manage installations, conduct post-installation visits, participate in research and technical publications, and travel extensively domestically and internationally.

Design, install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control panels and industrial automation systems. Configure and commission PLC and SCADA systems (Ladder Logic, Python, FactoryTalk, Studio 5000, TIA Portal, SQL, GE iFix, Ignition, C/C++). Provide on-site customer service, training, and commissioning support with extensive travel in year one; transition to R&D and product development work thereafter.

Design and develop Wagstaff casting equipment using mechanical design principles and CAD. Create, update, and release mechanical drawings and design documents for manufacturing. Estimate hours, meet schedule goals, interface with Purchasing and shop floor personnel, train team members on basic processes, and follow company policies and safety procedures.
