Develops new business for optical coating services and capital equipment markets. Builds relationships with AI/AR glass companies, equipment and material suppliers, and research organizations; supports customer qualification through commercialization; coordinates technical and commercial discussions; prepares quotations, forecasts, and presentations; monitors competition; and represents the company at customer visits and industry events. Requires extensive travel, including international travel.

Designs, improves, installs, commissions, and maintains manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation systems. Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical failures, performs repairs, leads root cause analysis, and improves equipment reliability, safety, uptime, and OEE. Supports Lean initiatives, spare parts management, suppliers, contractors, and global engineering teams in Mandarin and English. Requires hands-on production-floor work, technical documentation skills, and occasional travel.

Designs, develops, builds, commissions, qualifies, and troubleshoots PVD equipment, especially magnetron sputtering systems for magnetic thin-film deposition. Leads equipment architecture decisions involving vacuum, gas and power delivery, magnetrons, and target assemblies. Supports R&D and manufacturing, resolves plasma and film-uniformity issues, collaborates cross-functionally, maintains equipment documentation and preventive-maintenance procedures, and implements reliability improvements and upgrades.
