Provides strategic, academic, operational, and financial leadership for Victoria University's Law School. The Dean will oversee curriculum innovation, research development, partnerships with government, industry and the legal profession, staff leadership, quality assurance, international engagement, and public-facing legal forums. The role requires advancing applied legal education, student success, social impact, professional accreditation, inclusive culture, and the School's national and international standing.

Lead the university’s Awards and Graduations function, overseeing student completions, awards administration, official documentation and graduation operations. Manage the team, resources and performance while ensuring service excellence and critical deadlines are met. Drive process improvement, develop policies and procedures, advise senior leaders, analyze completion data, manage budgets and collaborate with academic, professional and external stakeholders to improve student lifecycle outcomes.

Teach and coordinate Mechanical Engineering units, develop project-based curricula, assess student learning, support accreditation, maintain professional currency, and build industry partnerships. The role focuses on learner-centered education, student success, scholarship of teaching and learning, curriculum improvement, and contemporary practice in areas including advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics, industrial systems, and production engineering.

Own and improve university-wide academic workload planning, including staffing availability, workload allocation, workforce utilisation reporting, data quality, process performance and continuous improvement. The role translates business requirements into scalable planning mechanisms, ensures alignment with policies and enterprise agreements, and partners with senior stakeholders across academic and professional services to support effective workforce planning and operational outcomes.
