The Director of Communications leads VPP’s internal and external communications strategy. Responsibilities include managing internal channels and communications calendars, selecting and launching an employee communications platform, creating written and multimedia content, supporting executive thought leadership, managing media relations, partnering on marketing campaigns, and developing crisis communications protocols. The role builds company culture and shapes VPP’s narrative within the veterinary profession.

Provide hands-on support to veterinarians and technicians by observing and reporting patient conditions, assisting with tests, recording vitals under supervision, obtaining radiographs, escorting patients, maintaining supplies, and preparing deceased pets for aftercare.

Provides daily care for boarding animals, including feeding, watering, walking, bathing, medication administration, monitoring health, documenting observations, and maintaining clean kennels and animal housing areas. Assists with patient check-in and checkout, labeling, ID collars, laundry, food preparation, and reducing animal stress through play and enrichment. Requires reliability, organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and a passion for animal well-being.

Transport patients, assist reception and grooming as needed, report behavioral or condition changes, and support overall hospital flow.

Support groomer by bathing, brushing, drying, restraining, and preparing patients for grooming. Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitation, low‑stress handling, and communicating health concerns to the veterinary team.

The Kennel Assistant monitors animal health, feeds pets, maintains cleanliness, documents treatments, administers medications, and supports overall animal care and comfort.
