Lead strategic digital transformation analysis across systems and portfolios. Shape ambiguous problem spaces, facilitate stakeholder workshops, run RFI/RFx, define requirements and artefacts, map data and decision flows, evaluate options and trade-offs, and support transition from shaping through delivery to build long-term enterprise capability.

Work across operational technology systems supporting the electricity network: troubleshoot and maintain communications, field automation and data acquisition (RTUs, PLCs, IIoT), configure network and substation equipment, support project delivery, integrations, commissioning and lifecycle management, and evaluate new OT technologies for reliability and grid modernization.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll build software using Java, React, and AWS services, while promoting innovation in the energy sector.

Lead end-to-end analysis of large energy transformation programmes, translate regulatory and business needs into functional/non-functional system requirements, define integrations and APIs, run workshops, partner with engineering, and ensure solutions meet customer, operational and regulatory outcomes.

Act as a trusted link between Vector, customers and communities, managing stakeholder engagement, complaints and sensitive issues. Support community discussions, local events, and storm/outage response, providing community insights to operational teams. Build and maintain relationships with customers, iwi and community groups while balancing customer needs and business priorities.

Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automate testing and deployments, troubleshoot build issues, strengthen release processes, support monitoring/security, and mentor junior engineers within an Agile environment.

Lead and develop an engineering team to deliver and operate Diverge, a cloud-native AWS serverless SaaS platform. Balance people leadership with hands-on technical delivery, partnering with Product, Delivery and Customer teams to ensure reliable production performance, DevOps-led sustaining practices, and continuous improvement across engineering standards and practices.
