Monitor and respond to network alarms and incidents for Vector Fibre, troubleshoot faults, manage service activations, and support network performance and availability. As a Senior Software Developer, you'll build software using Java, React, and AWS services, while promoting innovation in the energy sector.

Manage end-to-end customer electricity and gas connection projects from handover to completion. Act as primary customer contact, coordinate design and delivery, manage contractors and internal stakeholders, ensure compliance with standards and SLAs, maintain project and financial records, and drive safe, efficient delivery across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Support end-to-end administration of property rights and easement matters: prepare, lodge and register documents, maintain records, track key dates, liaise with stakeholders, manage inbox, and improve processes.

Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automate testing and deployments, troubleshoot build issues, strengthen release processes, support monitoring/security, and mentor junior engineers within an Agile environment.

Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into people plans, lead organisational change, provide employee relations and leadership coaching, use workforce data to inform decisions, support talent and capability initiatives, drive HR process and technology improvements, and promote inclusive, high-performing teams.

Ten-week full-time internship supporting SCADA/ADMS and control systems for Vector's electricity network. Responsibilities include observation, shadowing, data interpretation, documentation, testing, and applied project work within live network environments to build skills in network operations and control systems engineering.

Build and improve cloud-native software (primarily Java/Spring) for an AWS serverless platform. Contribute to frontend, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and platform maintainability. Work in agile teams, apply TDD/BDD practices, collaborate with AWS partners, and drive continuous improvement in code quality, documentation, and delivery pipelines.

Lead and develop an engineering team to deliver and operate Diverge, a cloud-native AWS serverless SaaS platform. Balance people leadership with hands-on technical delivery, partnering with Product, Delivery and Customer teams to ensure reliable production performance, DevOps-led sustaining practices, and continuous improvement across engineering standards and practices.
