Leads and scales VAST Data’s Systems Engineering organization across the Western U.S. Manages SE leaders, builds technical talent and processes, partners with Sales on strategic enterprise opportunities, and drives technical sales execution. The role requires deep expertise across storage, networking, cloud, data platforms, AI infrastructure, and solution architecture, along with executive presence and the ability to coach teams through complex technical sales cycles.

Leads VAST Data’s cloud business development strategy and relationships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. Builds joint solutions, value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and co-sell motions that generate customer adoption, pipeline, and revenue. Engages executives, customers, product and engineering teams, and partner field organizations to advance complex AI infrastructure opportunities. Establishes business plans and operating cadences while building and leading a high-performing cloud business development organization.

Leads and scales the Federal Systems Engineering organization, including SE managers and technical teams. Partners with Federal Sales to develop account strategies, win complex DoD, intelligence, and civilian agency opportunities, and build repeatable technical sales motions. Provides executive-level guidance on full-stack AI and data infrastructure architectures, develops technical leaders, engages senior government stakeholders, and translates technical differentiation into mission outcomes. Requires deep expertise across storage, networking, cloud, Kubernetes, data platforms, and GPU infrastructure.
