Architect and size solutions, set performance expectations, validate infrastructure readiness, guide deployments, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and support strategic customers and partners. Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Support, Engineering, and Product while developing repeatable deployment practices and technical guidance.

Lead sales strategy and revenue growth for VAST Data’s data platform across the West Coast. Responsibilities include prospecting, expanding customer relationships, delivering technical product presentations, negotiating and closing contracts, forecasting pipeline, collaborating with marketing, product management, and customer success, and representing the company at industry events. The role requires extensive B2B sales experience, database and data management knowledge, executive relationship-building skills, and proficiency with CRM tools.

Designs and optimizes high-performance database engine components, focusing on database internals, data storage, retrieval, scalability, and distributed systems. Responsibilities include implementing features, performance tuning, code reviews, cross-functional integration, and troubleshooting database issues.
