Provide administrative support to the Dean of the Faculty Office and Grants Office: manage faculty records, scheduling, meetings, budget operations, reception duties, event coordination, student employee supervision, data entry, and departmental communications.

Lead Title VI compliance at the College by managing intake, investigations, and resolution of discrimination matters. Coordinate supportive measures, develop trainings, partner with campus stakeholders, analyze climate data, produce reports, and maintain case management systems to inform institutional accountability and prevention efforts.

Conduct financial, biographical, philanthropic, and quantitative research to identify and evaluate prospective donors. Prepare intelligence reports, briefing materials, trustee materials, and fundraising recommendations for advancement officers and senior leaders. Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Political Science (American Politics with a focus on Constitutional Law). Responsibilities include teaching introductory through advanced courses, advising students, contributing to curriculum, conducting research, and serving on college and program committees. First-year teaching load is four courses; subsequent years are five courses or four classroom courses plus one intensive. Appointment begins 2027-28.

Serves as a first point of contact for students, alumni, faculty, employers, vendors, and visitors. Processes invoices, tracks supplies and budgets, maintains files and calendars, coordinates events and guest arrangements, enters data, and supervises student employees.

Provide front-desk and administrative support for the Art Department: manage budgets and invoices, schedule meetings and maintain calendars/files, supervise student employees, handle reception and mail, coordinate facility/equipment maintenance, assist with guest arrangements, perform data entry and standard reporting, and communicate with campus and external partners.

Lead organizational development and equity initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Design and deliver training (LMS and in-person), manage onboarding and employee resource groups, coordinate communications, partner with campus teams, and assess policies to enhance inclusion and belonging.

Tenure-track assistant professor to teach undergraduate courses (including statistics, intermediate clinical psychology, and an upper-level seminar), conduct research in clinical psychology/psychopathology (including areas like trauma, cross-cultural factors, underserved populations, or big-data methods), mentor undergraduates in intensive mentored experiences, and contribute to multidisciplinary programs. Teaching load: four courses first year; subsequently four classroom courses plus one small intensive.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor in South Asian religions focusing on Hindu sources and critical approaches to gender, sexuality, race, or caste. Teach undergraduate courses (including one cross-listed in Women, Feminist, & Queer Studies), develop thematic courses, contribute to multidisciplinary programs, and pursue distinguished scholarly research. Ph.D. required by appointment. First-year teaching load four courses, then five courses per year (or four plus intensive student research).

Tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate French language, literature, and culture courses at all levels, engage in active research, and contribute to departmental and campus interdisciplinary programs. Preference for scholars with transnational/transhistorical perspectives on the Mediterranean or Francophone diasporas. Must be fluent in French and English, demonstrate teaching excellence, and complete a Ph.D. by appointment. First-year teaching load is four courses, then five annually. Ability to teach a translation seminar and direct the Vassar Wesleyan Program in Paris are pluses.

Support campus accounting functions including general ledger and clearing account reconciliations, bank and fixed asset accounting, capital project and bond accounting, fiscal year-end and audit preparation, Form 990 support, ERP improvements, and provide financial guidance to departments while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
