Lead Vapi’s data function from scratch by establishing canonical metrics, building a scalable modern data platform, enabling self-serve analytics, governing data quality and access, and supporting AI/LLM observability. Partner with Finance, GTM, Product, Engineering, Security, and Legal while hiring and developing the initial data team. The role owns business reporting, usage-based billing data, revenue analytics, voice telemetry pipelines, and company-wide trust in data.

Partner with the CEO to run company operations and cadence, embed with leadership, own cross-functional ambiguous problems, tighten planning/OKRs and reporting, represent the CEO in meetings, run board prep, hiring loops, and scale processes to drive measurable outcomes.

Resolve technical customer support tickets across Slack, email, and Discord while meeting enterprise SLAs. Debug voice AI agents, APIs, middleware, tool-calling, latency, and integrations; determine appropriate escalations; collaborate with engineers, product, FDEs, and support teams; automate recurring solutions; create debugging documentation; and surface customer requirements for the product roadmap.
