Assists the Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance, equipment and building repairs, life safety system testing, utility monitoring, service request prioritization, contractor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and team supervision. The role diagnoses mechanical and building issues, operates boilers, troubleshoots electrical switches and appliances, performs Manager-on-Duty shifts, and ensures compliance with corporate standards and applicable safety codes.

Drives corporate group revenue for a resort by prospecting, closing new business, managing key accounts, negotiating rates and contracts, conducting site visits, and tracking sales activity in CRM systems. Analyzes market trends, forecasts pipeline performance, and partners with Revenue Management, Marketing, Events, and Operations to optimize packages and deliver seamless guest experiences. Represents the resort at industry events and may serve as Manager on Duty.

Responds to hotel engineering service calls, prioritizing guest requests, and performs preventive maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler, chiller, kitchen, laundry, pool, and guest-room systems. Operates and monitors building equipment, treats water systems, completes inspections, meter readings, maintenance logs, and emergency responses. Also maintains engineering spaces, supports property upkeep, parking lot maintenance, and snow removal.
