Maintain and stock office breakrooms and supplies, organize common areas, coordinate meeting setups and vendor pickups, support deliveries, assist with events and VIP visits, and provide general administrative and workplace services.

Perform structural analysis of high-speed rotating turbomachinery components using commercial FEA tools, quantify operational deflection and growth, assess structural margin and life, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define manufacturable designs and required clearances.

Design and analyze turbomachinery aerodynamics for power generation using meanline/streamline methods and 3D CFD, perform trade studies of stage/configuration options, and collaborate cross-functionally to produce manufacturable, high-efficiency designs.

Define and own secondary flow passages and seal procurement for turbomachinery. Perform trade studies on seal configurations, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver manufacturable, high-efficiency, robust designs.

Lead development and execution of high-fidelity CFD and conjugate heat-transfer simulations (Ansys Fluent) for reactor thermal-hydraulics. Establish V&V per ASME V&V 20, perform mesh-convergence studies, produce NQA-1/10 CFR 50 Appendix B–quality analysis packages, mentor junior analysts, and integrate CFD results with neutronics, systems (Flownex) and structural (FEA) workflows to support design, safety, and licensing.

Lead specification, selection, integration, and commissioning of process instrumentation for high-temperature, high-pressure helium systems, turbomachinery, cooling systems, and reactor support equipment. Develop datasheets, P&IDs, loop/wiring diagrams, and commissioning procedures. Support reactor protection and process control design, lead calibration/FAT/SAT/startup activities, establish instrumentation standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead design, procurement, fabrication, commissioning, and operation of helium process systems for HTGR technology. Perform process analyses, specify equipment, develop PFDs/P&IDs and procedures, oversee manufacturing and vendor activities, and support startup, troubleshooting, and system integration.

Lead and manage instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering for the reactor program. Oversee system design, installation, testing, commissioning, reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, cross-functional coordination, staffing, and vendor management to support pilot plant operations.
