Teams at Uphams' Corner Health Center

Provide patient-facing optical support in a Federally Qualified Health Center: greet patients, assist with frame/lens selection, measure and fit eyewear, verify prescriptions, process orders in Flexsys, document in EPIC, handle billing and transactions, maintain displays and cleanliness, and assist with interpretation and patient communications under Optical Manager supervision.

The Group Leader supervises school-age children, assists with homework, plans curriculum, and ensures safety. Communication with parents is essential.

Provide direct nutrition services for high-risk prenatal, postpartum, infant, and child WIC participants including assessments, WIC food package prescriptions, breastfeeding and nutrition counseling, documentation, referrals, follow-up education, staff training support, quality assurance, outreach, and coordination with healthcare providers across multiple WIC sites.
