Provides psychological assessment and diagnostic evaluation for students, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, behavioral, personality, and developmental evaluations. Collaborates with teachers, families, administrators, and professionals to support learning, special education eligibility, behavioral health, crisis intervention, and healthy development. Recommends educational and prevention programs, consults on student needs, supports families, and contributes to teacher professional development while following Michigan education regulations.

The Chief Operating Officer will lead U Prep Schools’ Operations House, overseeing finance, HR, athletics, IT, attendance, and marketing. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will align operational systems with academic goals, develop department leaders, improve financial sustainability, modernize processes through technology and automation, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen talent and school culture, and support enrollment growth. The role requires a strategic, hands-on change leader with experience managing complex operations and cross-functional teams.

Provides targeted small-group math intervention for students below grade level, using assessment data to identify gaps, monitor progress, and accelerate achievement. Supports WIN intervention blocks and collaborates with math teachers through co-planning, modeling, observation, feedback, and instructional coaching. Analyzes student and subgroup performance, leads data conversations, supports reteaching, and advances schoolwide math priorities while strengthening Tier 1 instruction.

Teach Honors U.S. History and Government/Economics to high school students. Implement curriculum, maintain a positive and structured classroom culture, use assessment data to improve instruction, apply culturally responsive teaching practices, engage families, support student development, participate in professional development, and collaborate with colleagues and school leadership.

Coordinates school athletic programs, including sports scheduling, coach hiring, student registration, grade and behavior tracking, league communication, uniforms and equipment inventory, parent meetings, games, transportation, and end-of-season events. Collects and tracks athletic fees, manages paperwork, communicates with students, families, staff, and league organizers, and supports athletics projects across the school network.

Coordinates high school athletics, including coaches, practices, games, league communication, transportation, fees, schedules, uniforms, equipment, registration paperwork, grade and behavior tracking, parent communication, banquets, and team apparel. Supports network-wide athletics projects and helps expand UPrep Athletics. The role requires strong organization and communication with students, parents, coaches, teachers, staff, and league directors.

Provide targeted individual or small-group reading instruction to students needing additional support, monitor and report progress, use data to inform lessons, engage families, participate in professional development, and create culturally responsive learning environments.

Provide classroom coverage as a substitute teacher, uphold U Prep core values, follow lesson plans, maintain student behavior, and commit to at least 2-3 days per week. Must meet Michigan Substitute Teacher Permit requirements (60 college credit hours and minimum 2.0 GPA). Daily pay is $200.
