Coach and build teacher capacity in K-3 reading instruction using benchmark data and interventions. Implement Orton-Gillingham methods, develop remediation plans (IRIP), run assessments, form intervention groups, support small-group instruction, provide professional development, and collaborate with families and MTSS teams to close reading gaps and bring students to grade level.

Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with IEPs, develop and monitor comprehensive IEPs, conduct assessments and progress monitoring, collaborate with teachers, families, and outside providers, maintain compliance and documentation, and participate in professional development.

Provide high-trust executive support to the CEO (and occasionally CAO/COO), managing complex calendars, meeting logistics, communications triage, drafting correspondence, tracking action items, and serving as primary liaison to the board. Maintain confidentiality, prepare board packets and reports, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure smooth execution of leadership operations.

Provide classroom coverage as a substitute teacher, uphold U Prep core values, follow lesson plans, maintain student behavior, and commit to at least 2-3 days per week. Must meet Michigan Substitute Teacher Permit requirements (60 college credit hours and minimum 2.0 GPA). Daily pay is $200.

Manage daily school operations including budgeting, procurement, facilities, compliance, student/staff records, testing coordination, and onboarding. Serve as primary troubleshooter for advisors, students, parents, and vendors while ensuring timely project completion and adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.

Coach and direct high school student-athletes in defensive football strategy, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Maintain attendance records, communicate with parents/staff, prepare reports, enforce attendance regulations, refer students to support services, and support school attendance review processes.

Supports the principal in instructional leadership: directs curriculum and data-driven instruction, leads staff training and evaluation, manages school culture and student discipline, coordinates community outreach, ensures compliance and budgeting, and oversees building operations for a safe, productive school.

Coach and direct high school student-athletes in offensive football strategy and development. Manage student attendance and welfare, communicate with parents/staff, maintain attendance records and reports, process disciplinary and placement documents, coordinate referrals and review board submissions, participate in staff training, and enforce district attendance policies.

Provide targeted individual or small-group ELA instruction to middle school students needing extra support. Monitor and report progress, use data to inform lessons, engage families, build supportive relationships, and implement culturally responsive teaching while participating in professional development.
