Provides comprehensive academic advising and career planning from admission through graduation. Guides students on majors, course schedules, degree requirements, probation, study habits, and graduation planning. Evaluates records, completes degree checks, monitors progress, supports retention initiatives, conducts proactive outreach, and connects students with academic and co-curricular opportunities. Collaborates with university departments, assists with orientation and recruitment events, maintains documentation and databases, and coaches students toward educational and personal goals.

Evaluates undergraduate degree requirements, graduation applications, transcripts, and degree audits to determine candidacy and final degree certification eligibility. Maintains transcript evaluation and course equivalency systems, enters substitutions and waivers, verifies articulation tables, evaluates Joint Service Transcripts, resolves requirement issues, and communicates graduation status to students, advisors, and university personnel.

Provides individualized career and academic guidance to university students and alumni, including career assessments, job searches, resumes, interviews, graduate applications, and major selection. Develops outreach initiatives, facilitates workshops and presentations, coordinates events and programs, builds relationships with campus stakeholders, maintains career and industry knowledge, and evaluates services. This entry-level role reports to senior staff and has no supervisory responsibilities.
