Supports a positive school climate by monitoring and reinforcing student behavior, enforcing conduct policies, assisting with classroom procedures, facilitating transitions and activities, intervening in conflicts, and implementing school climate initiatives. The role requires communication, cultural awareness, discretion, independent problem-solving, and experience with conflict-resolution programs in school or community settings.

Provides leadership and coordination for K–8 reading curriculum and instruction, with emphasis on grades 6–8. Assesses reading needs, develops remediation plans, supports disabled and struggling readers, collaborates with teachers, demonstrates instructional methods, maintains reading resources, evaluates program effectiveness, and delivers occasional small-group instruction and staff development.

Provides comprehensive school nursing services, including student screenings, illness and injury care, medication administration, chronic condition management, health plans, immunization monitoring, referrals, counseling, health records, and collaboration with families, teachers, healthcare providers, and community agencies. Ensures compliance with Pennsylvania school health regulations and supports other schools with health needs and professional development.

The Assistant Dean of Students manages student discipline, conduct investigations, attendance concerns, and school culture standards. The role supervises students across school settings, communicates with parents and community partners, coordinates with security and police, supports leadership decisions, participates in school meetings, and contributes to instructional development and a positive, achievement-focused school environment.

Supports the classroom teacher with lesson preparation, student engagement, behavior management, assignments, progress monitoring, attendance, grading, record keeping, and classroom activities. Supervises students during cafeteria periods, field trips, extracurricular activities, and assemblies; operates audio-visual equipment and maintains bulletin boards. Provides student assistance, handles trip payments, and performs related duties.
