Supports UNHCR’s Proximity Sourcing project by researching local and regional suppliers of core relief items, validating supplier capacity and compliance, analyzing sourcing feasibility, and preparing supplier databases, market assessments, recommendations, progress updates, and donor-reporting inputs. The role also supports stakeholder engagement, capacity-building materials, technical assessments, and field visits to supplier facilities.

Supports fundraising and private-sector partnership development with Danish companies and foundations. Responsibilities include researching opportunities, managing partnerships, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating communications and reporting, maintaining CRM and financial records, supporting compliance processes, and organizing workshops and networking events. The role requires strong Danish and English communication skills, stakeholder management, planning, multitasking, and interest in humanitarian and refugee-focused work.

Supports end-to-end supply chain activities, including planning, sourcing and procurement, transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and delivery of relief items. Evaluates requisitions, prepares tenders and purchase orders, monitors shipments, maintains supply records, analyzes data, coordinates partners and contractors, and ensures compliance with UNHCR policies and procedures.

Manages operational data for UNHCR programs involving refugees and asylum seekers. Performs data entry, extraction, validation, quality control, analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and database maintenance. Supports PRIMES and proGres applications, user assistance, system issue resolution, data collection tools, and information sharing. Collaborates with functional teams, partners, and authorities, provides training and guidance, and may conduct field visits for data collection and validation.

Supports UNHCR’s face-to-face private-sector fundraising program through donor inquiries, data consolidation, reporting, KPI monitoring, administrative coordination, vendor and procurement tracking, invoice processing, fundraiser recruitment, site planning, training support, and development of fundraising materials. The role assists with budget monitoring, partner relationships, and operational execution while contributing to donor acquisition and public engagement.

Supports refugee resettlement operations through interviews, case assessments, documentation, counselling, database updates, coordination, reporting, and departure arrangements. Maintains accurate and confidential case files, applies UNHCR policies and protection principles, identifies eligible cases and protection concerns, supports anti-fraud measures, and coordinates with government officials, IOM, partners, and UNHCR offices. The role also provides administrative and logistical support for resettlement missions, training, and workshops.

Leads UNHCR’s individual giving and digital fundraising programs, including donor acquisition, retention, paid media, email, direct mail, face-to-face, telemarketing, and DRTV campaigns. Develops budgets, forecasts, donor journeys, and annual plans; manages agencies, suppliers, databases, Salesforce reporting, and campaign performance. Supervises fundraising teams, donor care activities, data quality, compliance, and cross-functional projects to increase donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.

Provides legal, procedural, and operational support for Refugee Status Determination (RSD). Responsibilities include reviewing and endorsing asylum decisions, conducting interviews, drafting legal assessments, advising on refugee and human rights law, coaching staff, delivering training, monitoring case-processing quality and trends, supporting RSD strategy and national asylum-system development, and contributing to fraud prevention and resource planning. The role is primarily on-site in Cairo and may support emergency activities.

Supports UNHCR’s UNIQLO partnership through account management, fundraising, donor reporting, communications, content production, translation, social media, campaigns, and event coordination. The role develops English and Japanese materials, coordinates internal and external stakeholders, supports partnership activities and annual meetings, and helps maintain and expand corporate relationships. Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and knowledge of humanitarian issues are required.
