Design and implement high-performance network security features for UniFi gateway routers, including DPI, IDS/IPS, SSL inspection, content filtering, antivirus, and threat intelligence integration. Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to validate, benchmark, and optimize security modules.

Integrate with Windows system APIs to deliver native file experiences, solve complex system and coordination problems, collaborate with backend, product, and design teams, and continuously improve performance, stability, and maintainability.

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and end-to-end pipelines for L2/L3 switch features. Develop Python-based test cases, manage mixed physical/containerized testbeds, analyze logs/PCAPs, debug firmware and integration issues, and improve CI/CD using GitHub Actions.

Develop and optimize low-level firmware for Wi‑Fi/networking devices including board bring-up, BSP and driver integration, debugging with kernel tools and JTAG, performance and thermal tuning, and production readiness across product lifecycle.

Develop, debug, and optimize 802.11 WLAN/Wi‑Fi drivers and firmware. Perform performance analysis, Linux kernel/driver programming, sniffer-based troubleshooting, test plan development, and coordinate technical discussions with internal teams and chip vendors.

Perform validation and quality assurance for high-speed Ethernet switches and transceivers. Define test cases, run functional/performance/compatibility/environmental tests, analyze results, document procedures, troubleshoot defects, and contribute to process improvements to ensure product reliability and compliance.

Design, develop, and optimize IPv6 networking features for enterprise/ISP router firmware. Implement IPv4-IPv6 coexistence (dual-stack, tunneling, NAT64, DS-Lite, MAP-E), perform performance tuning and troubleshooting, define roadmap with product and systems teams, and collaborate with QA on test plans and automated IPv6 test environments.

Design, verify, and validate PCBs for UniFi products (switches, routers, APs, cameras). Lead hardware development through NPI to MP/EOL, collaborate with cross-functional teams, define tests and manufacturing criteria, support bring-up and debugging, and work with OEM/CM on production and quality.

Design, build, and integrate scalable Single Sign-On solutions in Python. Implement OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and JWT-based authentication/authorization. Work with cloud (AWS), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and databases (PostgreSQL). Ensure logging, monitoring, security, perform code reviews, troubleshoot SSO issues, and document designs and procedures while collaborating across teams.

Select and manage ODM partners; coordinate R&D, QA, purchasing, and supply chain to meet milestones; negotiate pricing and terms; drive cost-down/value-engineering; manage quality audits, production schedules, capacity planning, shipments, and resolve operational issues.

Design high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile (UniFi apps and design system). Collaborate with leadership, strategists, developers, and designers in an agile environment, iterate quickly, own tasks, and contribute design improvements across multiple company projects.

Configure and maintain network/switch test labs, execute test plans and exploratory tests for L2/L3 switching features, reproduce and debug customer issues on embedded Linux switch platforms, collaborate with firmware and automation teams to isolate regressions, provide detailed bug reports, and support release validation and documentation.

Lead system architecture and integration for enterprise NAS products. Define hardware blueprint, select components (CPU, memory, storage, networking, power), drive ODM collaboration, oversee validation, risk assessment, and cross-functional delivery from concept to mass production.

Design and build core sync, storage, and system-facing experiences for UniFi Drive on Linux. Implement high-performance file synchronization using Linux APIs (file I/O, inotify, FUSE), solve consistency/versioning/conflict-resolution issues for distributed/offline scenarios, integrate communication protocols, collaborate across backend and tooling teams, and improve performance, observability, and maintainability while extending into desktop-facing experiences.

Develop and execute mechanical reliability and quality test plans during NPI. Review PDRs, evaluate product reliability, resolve issues with teams and third-party labs, document results, and update test plans to meet standards and regulations.

Maintain and extend backend services for integrated IoT devices, build RESTful APIs, integrate new devices, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver high-quality, timely features.
