Build and maintain Python automation frameworks and physical testbeds for UniFi switching products. Automate L2/L3 protocol and feature testing, performance and stability validation, firmware provisioning, regression execution, and test reporting. Reproduce field issues, validate fixes, document bugs, and improve QA coverage and tooling. Collaborate with engineering and product teams on release decisions while using CI/CD and AI tools to accelerate test generation, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

Tests UniFi switching firmware and networking features across protocols, PoE behavior, management interfaces, interoperability, scale, stability, authentication, failover, and mixed-vendor environments. Investigates defects using logs, diagnostics, packet captures, and statistics; reproduces field issues; documents bugs; and collaborates with firmware engineers and product managers on release decisions. The role also improves test coverage, plans, frameworks, and QA processes.
