Own and execute paid and organic top-of-funnel experiments to acquire hosts across Canadian markets. Build roadmaps for creatives, targeting, offers, and landing pages; partner with Creative and media partners; analyze CAC and conversion metrics to optimize supply growth, including bilingual campaigns for Quebec.

Lead and optimize end-to-end procure-to-pay operations (AP, T&E, travel, procurement). Ensure controls, timely invoice/payment processing, vendor and PO management, 1099 compliance, corporate card oversight, and month-end close support in NetSuite/FloQast. Manage and develop AP specialists, administer travel via Navan, run Coupa workflows, and drive process automation and continuous improvement.

Build and scale low-latency, highly available distributed systems powering Turo’s Search Platform. Develop backend services, APIs, tools, and utilities; write, test, review, and ship maintainable code; improve architecture; and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver product features. The role requires search engine expertise, cloud-native architecture experience, strong programming skills, and knowledge of distributed systems and databases.

Develop and ship high-quality iOS app features using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers; test and review code; diagnose bugs; improve scalable architecture; and document technical designs. The role also involves experimenting with new ideas, supporting product metrics, and contributing to a rapidly evolving engineering environment.

Manage privacy operations, including data subject requests, privacy impact assessments, regulatory tracking, processing records, subprocessor compliance, data mapping, policy management, privacy training, and vendor security reviews. Partner cross-functionally with legal, engineering, product, marketing, HR, procurement, and security teams to reduce privacy risk and support compliant business growth across global markets.

Manage Turo’s communications and public relations efforts in Canada, including media relations, press inquiries, integrated communications plans, campaign messaging, crisis communications, influencer relationships, community storytelling, strategic partnerships, and PR and social tracking. Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Product, Operations, and other teams to build brand awareness and secure coverage around Turo’s innovation and performance.

Investigate high-complexity vehicle claims by interpreting policies, interviewing customers, assessing evidence and damages, determining coverage, negotiating resolutions, and recommending escalations or process improvements.

Manage high-volume consumer litigation, arbitration, pre-arbitration disputes, small claims, discovery, regulatory responses, and outside counsel coordination. Advise internal teams on dispute escalations, consumer complaints, litigation risk, settlement strategy, and cost-effective case management. Prepare evidence, attend online hearings, support motions to compel arbitration, defend depositions, and identify emerging dispute patterns.

Leads Turo Operations’ Project Management function, including PMO strategy, governance, methodologies, project prioritization, and executive reporting. Manages and develops Project Managers while overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives, dependencies, risks, milestones, and resource allocation. Partners with senior leaders to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and ensure measurable project outcomes.

Build and maintain backend platform tooling, shared services, automation, observability, and infrastructure capabilities. Improve reliability, scalability, deployment safety, production readiness, and developer workflows across engineering teams. Partner with product and infrastructure teams, support migrations and modernization, develop internal tools, and advocate for software quality, security, testing, and operational best practices.

Build and operate a scalable data platform supporting pipelines, reporting, and analytics across business teams. Responsibilities include defining canonical data models, implementing workflow orchestration with tools such as Airflow, improving platform infrastructure, troubleshooting complex data and system issues, enforcing data security controls, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires strong software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, communication, and data pipeline expertise.

Own global general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and close processes. Review BPO-prepared work, partner with Procurement and Accounts Payable, support audits, and improve accounting controls and month-end efficiency. The role also supports process automation initiatives, including NetSuite banking integration, and requires effective collaboration across teams in a fast-paced technology environment.

Own tax technology operations, integrations, data flows, controls, and system reliability for Turo’s indirect tax environment. Support tax technology implementations, migrate OneSource to AWS, troubleshoot ERP and tax-platform interfaces, and improve tax processes through AI and automation. Partner with Engineering, Product, Accounting, FP&A, and Tax to translate requirements, support SOX controls, manage audit data, and scale tax systems for international marketplace growth.

Investigate potentially fraudulent or misrepresented auto-sharing claims by reviewing evidence, interviewing parties, analyzing account and claims data, coordinating with law enforcement and NICB, preparing investigative reports, and recommending recoveries or account actions.

Architects, builds, documents, and maintains cross-platform design system foundations and web components. Owns repositories, release workflows, CI pipelines, automation, testing, documentation, and adoption measurement. Leads AI-assisted engineering workflows and governance while coaching contributors, supporting product teams, ensuring accessibility, and mentoring engineers. Collaborates closely with designers and engineers across platforms and helps migrate components into consuming applications.

Leads Turo’s recovery operations, including collections, subrogation, insurer recoveries, and chargeback resolution. Manages internal teams and outsourced vendors, develops recovery strategies, oversees negotiations and settlements, monitors KPIs, ensures compliance, and partners with Claims, Legal, and Finance. The role also applies AI, automation, and technology to improve recovery performance and operational efficiency.

Leads Turo’s liability claims function, managing internal liability experts and carrier relationships while overseeing litigated claims and litigation responses. Develops claims-handling guidelines, liability reduction strategies, and risk controls; partners with counsel on discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trials. Collaborates with actuarial, data, finance, claims, and legal teams to monitor liability trends, vendor performance, KPIs, compliance, and process improvements.

Leads Turo’s global tax function, initially rebuilding indirect tax operations and expanding into tax strategy, compliance, planning, and leadership. Oversees marketplace facilitator taxes, sales and use tax, VAT/GST, income tax compliance, ASC 450 reserves, ASC 740 provisions, transfer pricing, audits, tax controversy, and international regulatory developments. Partners with Finance, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Product, and Engineering while developing the tax team and advising executives on growth, expansion, product, and M&A decisions.
