Designs, implements, maintains, and supports airport network and computing infrastructure across on-premises, virtual, and hybrid cloud environments. Installs and troubleshoots routers, switches, firewalls, servers, wireless systems, cabling, and operating systems. Performs capacity planning, patching, backup, disaster recovery, security assessments, vulnerability remediation, documentation, and modernization planning. Serves as a technical lead, supports customers and vendors, mentors team members, and responds to airport emergencies.

Maintains and repairs airport landscapes, irrigation systems, equipment, vehicles, and shop areas at Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield. Performs mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, irrigation troubleshooting, debris removal, equipment maintenance, and bee activity management. Responds to landscaping and airport emergencies, follows FAA, TSA, environmental, and safety requirements, maintains work records, and provides customer service. The role requires rotational shifts, on-call emergency response, physical labor, airport vehicle operation, and completion of required security, emergency management, and landscape certifications.

Provides administrative and technical support to the airport authority’s revenue and commercial development division. Duties include records management, scheduling, correspondence, research, data entry, lease and tenant tracking, revenue reporting, invoice reconciliation, permit processing, and meeting or event coordination. The role also supports airport emergency response, maintains confidentiality, manages multiple deadlines, and coordinates with tenants, finance, staff, and external stakeholders.

Manages medium-to-high complexity IT projects through planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. Oversees scope, schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, change control, testing, compliance, inspections, and system acceptance. Coordinates technology vendors, consultants, IT teams, contractors, and stakeholders while preparing executive reports. Supports airport emergency response using ICS/NIMS protocols and maintains FAA, ADOT, grant, safety, and operational compliance.

Manages airport-wide occupational safety, health, loss control, regulatory compliance, training, audits, inspections, incident investigations, risk controls, and FAA-mandated Safety Management System programs. Provides safety expertise to airport departments, analyzes trends, recommends corrective actions, facilitates safety committees, and supports emergency response using ICS and NIMS protocols. Requires coordination with regulators, leadership, employees, outside agencies, and the public.
