Manage the backlog, sprint planning, requirements, acceptance criteria, and alignment across Risk, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Legal, and Sales.

Manage payroll operations for European geographies, leading a payroll team and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing. Oversee statutory filings, tax payments, reconciliations, funding, accruals, journal entries, audits, vendor relationships, and employee inquiries. Support transformation from fragmented providers to a global payroll platform, establish policies and controls, manage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.

Oversee Portuguese payroll operations and coordinate external payroll providers supporting European subsidiaries. Ensure payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, tax and social security adherence, and effective management of multi-country payroll processes. Serve as the strategic HR partner to US and global commercial executives. Build GTM compensation architecture, OTE ranges, quota frameworks, and incentive plans with Revenue Operations and Finance. Lead talent reviews, calibration, succession planning, organizational design, headcount strategy, employee relations, and executive coaching. Own the global financial institution connectivity product roadmap for Trustly’s open banking platform. Lead product discovery, prioritization, requirements, integrations, testing, migration, and quality monitoring. Partner with engineering, data, sales, customer success, banking relations, finance, operations, and external providers to expand bank coverage and improve data performance. Use metrics, cost-benefit analysis, AI-enabled product development, and cross-functional leadership to deliver platform capabilities.

Conduct KYC, EDD, ODD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media investigations across consumer and merchant populations. Assess financial crime risks, document decisions, escalate high-risk activity, perform peer reviews, support quality assurance, and improve KYC/AML procedures and controls while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Own Trustly’s global design vision and quality standards across consumer and merchant products. Lead and mentor product designers, establish scalable design culture and processes, oversee the design system, and partner with product and engineering leadership throughout development. Drive user research and usability testing, advocate for design in executive discussions, and communicate its business value. The role emphasizes strong product craft, AI-native prototyping, and experience designing complex or regulated financial products.

Build and maintain Trustly’s AI platform, including LLM infrastructure, prompt management, evaluation pipelines, and agentic workflow tooling. Partner with teams to embed AI into products, establish testing standards, evaluate models and architectures, and drive internal adoption through reusable libraries, documentation, and enablement resources. The role requires staff-level technical leadership, cross-functional influence, and taking AI systems from prototype to reliable production at scale.

Analyze consumer KYC cases, assess high-risk customer profiles, investigate sanctions and PEP screening hits, perform enhanced due diligence, document findings and decisions, and escalate complex or suspicious activity. The role supports AML/CFT regulatory compliance and financial crime risk mitigation while managing multiple cases and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Builds standardized global processes while preserving regional execution flexibility, improves seller productivity and ramp time, and applies AI to prospecting, forecasting, enablement, and CRM intelligence.

Consultant responsible for end-to-end Swedish payroll execution and coordination of European payroll providers. Duties include salary, bonus, commission, benefits, tax and statutory reporting, payroll compliance, accounting, reconciliations, payments, payslips, documentation, and KPI tracking. The role also drives improvements in payroll accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and efficiency while partnering with People and other teams.

Build and lead Trustly’s US Solutions Engineering function across pre-sales consulting, merchant implementation, integration support, and technical account management. Own merchant onboarding, reduce integration friction, support enterprise sales, resolve complex technical escalations, develop self-service integration resources, and establish performance metrics. Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and merchant technical teams to improve launches, reliability, growth, and commercial outcomes.

Own the roadmap, strategy, requirements, and execution for core payment products, particularly gaming-focused solutions. Partner with engineering, legal, compliance, sales, banks, processors, and other stakeholders to launch scalable products. Translate customer needs, market trends, and regulations into opportunities, prioritize features, manage risk and compliance, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous product improvements.
