The Head of Risk leads risk management, overseeing strategies for fraud prevention, compliance, and risk monitoring while guiding teams and fostering collaboration across departments.

Conduct independent internal audits covering operations, financial activities, governance, risk management, compliance, and internal controls. Develop audit plans, assess risks and controls, report findings, recommend improvements, and monitor corrective actions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, train staff, maintain regulatory knowledge, and support continuous process improvement, particularly within financial services.

Lead and modernize corporate IT infrastructure across Malta, Europe and South Africa. Own architecture, data centre operations, virtualization, networking, backups, monitoring, incident command, vendor governance, compliance (PCI-DSS) and team development while ensuring HA/DR and regulatory controls.
