Leads client-facing refinery consulting engagements from proposal through close-out, managing project plans, resources, risks, milestones, budgets, stakeholder communication, and sustainable results. Builds client relationships, identifies follow-on opportunities, resolves issues, mentors operations professionals, supports training, and contributes to internal improvement initiatives. The role focuses on downstream oil and gas services including gasoline blending, energy intensity, hydrocarbon loss control, and value chain optimization, with approximately 80% travel across North America.

Manages refinery optimization consulting projects from initiation through closeout, including planning, staffing, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, milestone delivery, budget control, and client engagement. Identifies additional client opportunities, resolves conflicts, mentors operations professionals, supports training, and leads internal improvement initiatives. Requires Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, operations management consulting experience, project and workstream management expertise, continuous improvement experience, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and willingness to travel 80–100% across Europe and internationally.

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth in the downstream Oil & Gas sector by qualifying and converting leads, managing client relationships, and developing strategic market initiatives.

Manage day-to-day legal operations including reviewing, redlining, and negotiating NDAs and commercial contracts; maintain contract templates and tracking. Own client/vendor compliance onboarding, responses, and audits. Coordinate insurance certificates with brokers, draft internal policies (privacy, security, conduct), and support litigation and legal ops projects under General Counsel direction.

Lead and deliver refinery improvement projects across the EU, managing project planning, resources, client engagement, risk mitigation, milestones, training and mentoring, and identifying additional opportunities to improve refinery margins. Requires heavy client-facing delivery and substantial onsite travel.

Develop and maintain short- and medium-term refinery plans and LP models (Aspen PIMS/GRTMPS), evaluate crudes and blends, optimize GRM through scenario analysis, support scheduling/inventory, build financial analyses, and integrate decisions with trading, operations, and finance.

Consulting roles to increase refinery margins via value chain and process optimization. Candidates will apply planning, scheduling, pricing, origination, LP development, crude assay management and refinery optimization expertise. AVEVA Spiral (crude assay management) experience is mandatory. Opportunities include permanent or contract, onsite or remote across Canada, Mexico, EU, Turkey and India.
