Leads enterprise RHEL modernization and Red Hat Satellite implementation in a federal, NERC CIP-governed environment. Responsibilities include architecture, upgrades, provisioning, patch management, Ansible automation quality assurance, infrastructure-as-code, documentation, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and mentoring engineers. The role serves as the primary technical authority across project milestones and supports secure, scalable operation of RHEL and OpenShift platforms.

Develop and maintain cloud-native backend microservices (Java/Spring Boot), operate enterprise production systems, troubleshoot issues, design/optimize relational and NoSQL databases, integrate event-driven architectures (Kafka/MQ), support observability and GitOps workflows, participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Develop, operate, and maintain cloud-native backend microservices and REST APIs. Migrate mainframe functionality to AWS GovCloud, integrate Elasticsearch and event-driven systems (Kafka/pub-sub), deploy on OpenShift/Kubernetes, participate in code reviews, on-call rotation, and collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture teams.

Design, develop, and operate cloud-native microservices to migrate legacy mainframe functionality into AWS GovCloud. Build scalable, event-driven systems using Java, Kubernetes, GitOps, and streaming technologies. Support production operations, participate in Agile ceremonies, troubleshoot incidents, and join a rotating on-call schedule to ensure system reliability.

Lead end-to-end technical solutioning for federal pursuits, translating mission needs and acquisition requirements into secure, cloud-native architectures and executable delivery plans. Drive capture, proposal, and color-team activities; validate cost, risk, and compliance; engage customers and partners; and ensure smooth transition to delivery while building reusable solution patterns and mentoring emerging architects.

Provide Red Hat technical leadership for federal clients: design, implement, and optimize OpenShift/OpenStack environments; build Ansible automation; support CI/CD and DevOps; ensure RHEL system management and security compliance; troubleshoot complex issues; deliver training and customer collaboration.
