As a Junior Backend Software Developer, you will develop microservices, support cloud migration, analyze user needs, and participate in Agile teams.

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts; execute system and integration tests; review government test plans; support FBI security certification and customer acceptance testing; manage test baselines and configuration control; analyze and report defects, root causes, and remediation; provide test reports and briefing materials to stakeholders.

Join a remote federal-focused team to design, build, and operate cloud-native microservices and REST APIs. Migrate mainframe functionality to AWS GovCloud/OpenShift, support high-throughput event-driven systems (Kafka, IBM MQ, etc.), implement observability, optimize databases, participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and rotate on-call support.

Provide onsite executive program leadership for the FBI CJIS N3G engagement, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, staffing, subcontractors, SAFe/ART execution, reporting, and stakeholder alignment while coaching Scrum Masters/Product Owners and ensuring contractual and security compliance.

Design, develop, and operate cloud-native microservices to migrate legacy mainframe functionality into AWS GovCloud. Build scalable, event-driven systems using Java, Kubernetes, GitOps, and streaming technologies. Support production operations, participate in Agile ceremonies, troubleshoot incidents, and join a rotating on-call schedule to ensure system reliability.

Provide technical Red Hat consulting to federal clients: design, implement, and optimize OpenShift/OpenStack and RHEL environments; develop Ansible automation; support CI/CD and DevOps; ensure security compliance; troubleshoot, train client teams, and engage on product/architecture decisions.
