Support lifecycle performance, reliability, and maintainability of mechanical/electronic systems. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, manage ECRs/ECOs, implement design updates and retrofits, handle obsolescence, update maintenance procedures, support field service and audits, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations to reduce downtime and lifecycle costs.

Design and implement software and firmware across BIOS, device drivers, embedded Linux, and microcontroller environments. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering through design, testing, documentation, vendor coordination, manufacturing support, and project tracking to deliver complex computing products on time and within budget.

Support lifecycle maintenance and reliability of electrical systems: troubleshoot issues, manage ECRs/ECOs, handle obsolescence, update maintenance procedures and documentation, support field service and audits, collaborate with manufacturing/quality/supply chain, and implement design/process improvements to reduce downtime and costs.

Lead and mentor an electrical engineering team responsible for PCBA schematic capture and PCB layout through manufacturing. Manage projects, ensure designs meet electrical/thermal/mechanical requirements, drive DFM/DFT and quality improvements, interface with manufacturers, and ensure compliance with standards (IPC, UL, CE).

Design, develop, debug, and bench-test PCBs, motherboards, and backplanes. Create schematics, BOMs, and layouts; perform component and system tests; support NPI and manufacturing; integrate third-party subsystems; collaborate cross-functionally and participate in design reviews.

Design and produce PCB layout outputs (Gerbers, insertion files) for single-board computers and backplanes. Support manufacturing and vendors on technical issues, participate in design reviews, assist engineering manager on projects, and drive continuous improvement and risk management. Remote role with occasional offsite work permitted with manager approval.
