The Plant Engineer develops and executes capital strategy for two manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include planning and delivering capital projects, managing budgets and schedules, maintaining technical documentation, troubleshooting operational issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing engineered solutions. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, environmental sustainability, equipment reliability, and operating costs while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Leads TreeHouse Foods’ enterprise Science and Technology Center of Excellence, setting long-term technical strategy and serving as the highest-level scientific advisor. Oversees ingredient technology, processing science, culinary innovation, analytical sciences, consumer research, and sensory capabilities. Drives rapid prototyping, emerging technology adoption, product quality, manufacturing improvements, customer innovation programs, technical standards, and cross-functional enterprise initiatives. Develops scientific talent and partners with product development, operations, procurement, commercial, quality, regulatory, and suppliers to deliver scalable innovation.

Manages assigned customer relationships and overall account performance, including revenue, margin, forecast accuracy, demand planning, pricing initiatives, and customer-supplier scorecards. Resolves issues cross-functionally, gathers customer insights, identifies product whitespace, limits allocation risk, and develops strategic account and operating plans. The role requires retail grocery experience, strong financial and analytical skills, and 20–60% travel.
