Build and run Transluce’s People Operations function as the first dedicated people professional. Responsibilities include end-to-end hiring, sourcing strategy, onboarding, benefits, payroll, HRIS ownership, employee relations, culture practices, and federal and multi-state employment compliance. The role advises leadership, manages vendors and external counsel, handles visa processes, and develops scalable people infrastructure while remaining highly hands-on.

Develop and train scalable interpretability assistants to predict and detect subtle model behaviors. Create diverse evaluations, design novel architectures and objectives, and scale training/inference pipelines to support up to 1T‑scale models. Collaborate closely with a research team and contribute to high-impact evaluations used for industry standards and regulation.

Design and implement scientifically valid automated evaluations of frontier AI systems, focusing on impacts to user wellbeing, autonomy, mental health, and decision-making. Develop user simulators, LLM-as-a-judge pipelines, evaluation rubrics, and population-specific methods. Collaborate with research engineers, scientists, frontier AI labs, regulators, domain experts, and affected communities to improve evaluation realism, measurement, and oversight.

The AI Behavior Engineer will measure and shape AI model behaviors, collaborating with stakeholders to conduct evaluations and adapt methods for various contexts.

The role involves driving AI research progress, prototyping ideas, designing systems, and leading projects in a collaborative environment.

The Full-Stack Product Engineer will design, develop, and maintain AI product interfaces, backend systems, and APIs while engaging with stakeholders.

The AI Systems Engineer will design and develop a core ML stack, solve technical challenges across verticals, ensure code quality, and lead the team in building impactful AI systems.
