Troubleshoot multi-site field networks using packet analysis, align designs with security and compliance requirements, document architectures and runbooks, and mentor engineers. The role requires deep routing, switching, network security, and industrial network expertise across geographically distributed production environments.

Owns Torus’s enterprise physical security program across manufacturing and critical infrastructure sites. Responsibilities include developing security strategy, policies, SOPs, and governance; conducting vulnerability assessments; managing guard-force vendors; overseeing access control and credentialing; ensuring NERC CIP compliance; managing budgets and investment cases; establishing KPIs and SLAs; and integrating physical security systems with monitoring and incident response.

Designs, builds, and maintains automated electrical test systems for energy storage, inverters, power electronics, motor drives, and control panels. Develops LabVIEW test software, integrates DAQ hardware and instrumentation, executes verification and validation tests, troubleshoots electrical and controls issues, analyzes test data, and performs root-cause analysis. Maintains laboratory equipment and documentation while supporting engineering and production teams.

Own mechanical hardware development from concept through production for energy storage systems. Lead design, prototyping, testing, validation, analysis, and manufacturing integration while balancing cost, reliability, safety, quality, and manufacturability. Use SolidWorks, first-principles calculations, and FEA to develop robust designs. Apply DFM, GD&T, DOE, and SPC principles, collaborate with internal and external engineering teams, ensure compliance with standards, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Administer long-term supplier agreements and purchase orders, maintaining accurate pricing, terms, schedules, and ERP records. Track supplier fulfillment, delivery risks, and order acknowledgments while coordinating expediting. Manage defects, nonconformances, RMAs, returns, replacements, credits, and corrective actions with Quality and planning teams. Monitor supplier performance, resolve invoice discrepancies, support onboarding and master data maintenance, and escalate disruptions. Design, develop, assemble, install, and maintain low-voltage power systems for energy storage infrastructure, including power distribution, grid-tied inverters, motor drives, protective relays, transfer switches, and power conversion. Prepare schematics, calculations, studies, layouts, manuals, and testing protocols. Support commissioning, electrical code compliance, diagnostics, and collaboration with firmware and manufacturing teams.

Own and evolve Torus’s IT and OT security architecture across IAM, endpoint security, networks, vulnerability management, and compliance. Evaluate security tools and architecture improvements, maintain secure infrastructure, and mentor IT and security engineers.
