Designs, implements, and improves manufacturing processes for battery and flywheel energy storage products. Responsibilities include specifying production equipment, tooling, robotics, and automation; designing fixtures; optimizing workflows and layouts; developing PLC-, PC-, and microcontroller-based systems; improving quality, safety, and throughput; analyzing production costs and trends; and supporting Design for Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and product development activities.

Own mechanical hardware development from concept through production for energy storage systems. Responsibilities include design, analysis, prototyping, testing, validation, manufacturing optimization, documentation, and compliance with safety standards. The role requires SolidWorks expertise, first-principles calculations, FEA, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership. Preferred experience includes GD&T, DOE, SPC, and leading hardware development.

Provide primary IT support across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams. Operate, program, and set up CNC Vertical Turning Lathes to produce precision-machined parts. Read and edit G and M codes, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, select tooling and feeds, inspect tolerances, troubleshoot equipment, design fixtures, perform maintenance, and maintain safe, quality-focused production while meeting delivery goals.
