The role requires proactive problem solving, strong organization, cross-functional collaboration, and advanced English communication in a hybrid Campinas office environment.

Develop electronic products across the full hardware lifecycle, including system design, schematic capture, BOM management, multilayer PCB design, bring-up, verification, validation, compliance testing, and documentation. Maintain Altium libraries and support existing products through troubleshooting and redesign. Collaborate with product managers, software teams, FAEs, and customers, with optional contributions to technical education and project coordination.

Designs and supports embedded hardware products throughout their lifecycle, including system design, schematics, BOMs, multilayer PCB layouts, bring-up, verification, validation, compliance testing, documentation, and product improvements. The role develops System on Module solutions and carrier boards, maintains Altium libraries, investigates hardware issues, supports customers and FAEs, and collaborates with product managers and software teams. Optional responsibilities include technical content, webinars, project coordination, and Python-based engineering tools.

Supports procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics operations by creating and maintaining purchase orders, monitoring suppliers and deliveries, managing ERP data, reconciling invoices, coordinating warehouse activities, tracking shipments, and supporting customs documentation. The role also contributes to process documentation, data quality, and continuous improvement while collaborating with global internal teams, suppliers, couriers, and third-party logistics providers.

Coordinates engineering projects from quotation through completion, maintaining schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, documentation, and project communications. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, manage risks, prevent scope creep, and support timely delivery. Tracks shipping, serial numbers, bills of materials, costs, and project requirements while facilitating customer updates and applying project management practices to technical projects.

Designs carrier boards and analog, digital, mixed-signal, and high-speed PCBs for embedded systems. Responsibilities include hardware, firmware, and software debugging; board bring-up, testing, certification support, prototype and volume manufacturing support; and managing products from concept through production and customer support. The role requires collaboration across multiple projects while meeting cost, quality, visual, and delivery requirements.

Implement, validate, and maintain security features in Toradex's embedded software stack. Enable hardware security (secure boot, TrustZone/OP-TEE), harden system configurations, monitor and remediate CVEs, draft security advisories and VEX, and automate security testing (including hardware-in-the-loop). Collaborate to improve developer experience and secure defaults for embedded Linux products.

Support selection, evaluation, lifecycle and compliance management of electronic components. Monitor obsolescence and PCNs, maintain component data and supplier documentation, collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate supply risk, optimize BOMs, and ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, Prop65 and related regulations.

Own and evolve a hardware-in-the-loop CI/CD pipeline that builds Yocto/Torizon images and validates them on an on-prem board farm. Work spans server deployment, pipeline orchestration, job dispatch, device control, systems administration, observability, and release-gating reporting to ensure reproducible, fast build and test cycles.

Design, verify, and support embedded hardware products end-to-end: system design, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM maintenance, hardware bring-up, V&V (EMC, shock/vibration, electrical), and long-term product/customer support. Maintain Altium libraries/workspaces, collaborate with product managers and software teams, and optionally create technical content and customer-facing materials.

The Developer Experience Engineer will enhance user experience for Toradex solutions by creating documentation, demos, and automating support, engaging with customers, and promoting the products.

Own and operate the company integration platform using Workato. Design, build, and maintain recipes, connectors and reusable patterns; manage API integrations (REST/GraphQL), support lifecycle testing, incident investigation, monitoring, and platform governance. Partner with business stakeholders to translate process gaps into integration solutions, document architecture and runbooks, modernize legacy integrations, and evaluate advanced Workato capabilities including MCP.

Operate and improve AWS cloud infrastructure, maintain IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), design CI/CD pipelines, automate with scripting, monitor and respond to incidents, secure cloud accounts and delivery, support on-premises to cloud migrations, optimize global delivery and handle AI-driven traffic patterns, and document runbooks and architectures.
