Lead and supervise live Trade Desk and Platform Support operations within an NFA/CFTC-regulated environment. Manage real-time trading risk, client escalations, platform incident response, FCM interactions, compliance with retention and record-keeping rules, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering/Product/Risk, and staff development to ensure scalable, auditable, and compliant operational processes.

Lead and build Topstep’s global in-house tax function, overseeing income and indirect tax compliance, ASC 740 provision processes, international tax and transfer pricing, managing external advisors, and developing a small tax team while implementing scalable processes and tax technology to support company growth.

Lead the Payments & Wallet product area: own roadmap for checkout, funding, balances, transfers, payouts, disputes, and new payment methods. Define PRDs, coordinate cross-functional delivery, run experiments and SQL-driven analysis to optimize conversion and reliability, manage vendors/integrations, and ensure compliance (PCI, NACHA, OFAC). Report metrics and quantify feature ROI.

Lead accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 compliance. Oversee month-end close, GL, reconciliations, revenue and payout accounting, audits, internal controls, and ERP configuration. Build and coach the accounting team, drive process improvements, maintain audit readiness, and partner with executives on strategic finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Lead design and delivery of cloud-native .NET services for a high-throughput trading platform. Own end-to-end systems, drive architecture and reliability, mentor engineers, participate in on-call and incident response, and occasionally contribute to React/TypeScript frontend work while establishing engineering standards and observability.

Lead end-to-end chargeback representment and recovery operations: manage team and BPO vendors, own queue routing and SLAs, drive win rates and reporting, ensure card-network compliance, handle escalations, and partner with Product/Engineering to streamline and automate workflows.

Lead development of automated API, UI, and end-to-end tests for a real-time trading platform. Extend AI-assisted test generation, build scalable CI/CD test frameworks for order lifecycles and market-data streams, reduce flakiness, triage failures, mentor engineers, and drive quality and testability across the product.

Support month-end close for assigned GL areas including lease accounting (ASC 842), expense report and corporate card processing, bank transaction uploads, reconciliations, audit support, SOP maintenance, and process improvements using NetSuite and Excel.

Own and resolve complex, recurring trader-impacting issues by reproducing, diagnosing, and shipping code fixes. Write backend C#/.NET and React front-end code, build admin tooling, improve observability, lead incident response and post-incident reviews, and partner across engineering, QA, Cloud Ops, and Product to reduce recurring support toil.

Build and own a framework-agnostic charting engine core and its React binding: rendering layers, real-time data plumbing, indicator math, drawing tools, performance (60fps) discipline, visual testing, architectural leadership, mentoring, and integrations across web and mobile.

Build and ship a React Native mobile trading platform MVP and ongoing features. Establish reusable patterns, integrate GraphQL/Apollo, ensure performance, testing, CI/CD, crash reporting, and collaborate with product and design. Provide mobile technical leadership and production ownership across teams.

Lead native iOS and Android product strategy and roadmap for a high-volume fintech app. Translate complex web trading, payments, and social features into mobile-optimized journeys, drive A/B tests to improve onboarding and retention, ensure performance and stability at scale, and align cross-functional teams to ship through CI/CD and feature-flag workflows using mobile analytics and SQL.
