Lead and build Topstep’s global in-house tax function, overseeing income and indirect tax compliance, ASC 740 provision processes, international tax and transfer pricing, managing external advisors, and developing a small tax team while implementing scalable processes and tax technology to support company growth.

Lead the Payments & Wallet product area: own roadmap for checkout, funding, balances, transfers, payouts, disputes, and new payment methods. Define PRDs, coordinate cross-functional delivery, run experiments and SQL-driven analysis to optimize conversion and reliability, manage vendors/integrations, and ensure compliance (PCI, NACHA, OFAC). Report metrics and quantify feature ROI.

Lead accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 compliance. Oversee month-end close, GL, reconciliations, revenue and payout accounting, audits, internal controls, and ERP configuration. Build and coach the accounting team, drive process improvements, maintain audit readiness, and partner with executives on strategic finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
