Own and evolve core areas of TopstepX, a real-time futures trading platform. Define product strategy, lead complex initiatives from discovery through delivery, prioritize trader needs, write requirements, manage roadmaps, and partner with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, and support. The role emphasizes platform reliability, performance, resilience, measurable outcomes, and intuitive trader experiences across market data, order management, risk, and performance workflows.

Manages the general ledger team and oversees payroll accounting, accounts payable coding and payouts, equity rollforwards, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly flux analysis. Reviews team deliverables, ensures audit readiness, maintains internal controls, supports multi-entity accounting, and partners cross-functionally on accounting processes. The role also drives process improvements in NetSuite and may assume additional ownership of intercompany, cash, leases, or fixed assets.

Owns accrued expenses, AP aging, contractor payments, capitalized software and fixed asset accounting, AFS securities, reconciliations, journal entries, monthly close, audit schedules, and process improvements. Supervises and reviews a GL Accountant, coaches team members, supports NetSuite automation, and partners cross-functionally to maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records.
