Develops meteorological data visualizations, statistical analyses, prototypes, and validation processes for satellite, NWP, and AI weather models. The role partners with scientific, engineering, product, marketing, and customer teams to troubleshoot data and model performance, strengthen use cases, and communicate weather insights. Responsibilities include working with proprietary satellite data, operationalizing AI-assisted scientific workflows, integrating diverse meteorological formats, and supporting customer-focused applications of weather intelligence.

Develop, integrate, verify, and operate satellite weather-sensing payloads. Translate mission objectives into requirements, architecture, verification plans, and interface definitions; coordinate payload integration with spacecraft teams; perform modeling, trade studies, orbital analysis, testing, and risk management; investigate anomalies and resolve technical issues across engineering and science teams.

Own and evolve cloud-native and HPC infrastructure to maximize reliability, security, cost-efficiency, and developer experience. Build self-service platforms, integrate MLOps for GPU deployments, support SLURM-based scientific workloads, implement monitoring and CI/CD, adopt AI-powered developer and ops tooling, and participate in on-call to maintain production availability.

Owns complex international technical programs from pre-sale and proof of concept through deployment and ongoing support. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, contracts, deliverables, invoicing, compliance, customer relationships, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. The role supports international sales opportunities, builds governance and reporting frameworks, resolves blockers, and ensures programs are delivered on time across multiple countries, time zones, and regulatory environments. International travel is required as customer relationships and program milestones demand.

Own end-to-end delivery of multiple U.S. government technical programs, managing contracts, scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, compliance artifacts, and customer relationships. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, support pre-sale government opportunities, and establish governance and reporting processes. Define requirements, manage interfaces, plan and execute integration and verification, perform trade studies and performance modeling, identify and mitigate technical risks, and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams from concept through launch and operations to deliver reliable mission-ready systems.

Own end-to-end delivery of complex international government programs across multiple countries, including contracting, technical delivery, POCs, deployment, support, reporting, invoicing, and compliance. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teams while supporting pre-sales activities. Build program frameworks in a fast-growing environment, maintain momentum across concurrent engagements, and serve as the primary customer contact. International travel and direct experience with non-U.S. government agencies are required.

Lead and manage regulatory licensing and export-control programs for spacecraft and Earth-observation operations. Develop export classifications, licensing strategies, Technology Control Plans, and governance frameworks. Advise on international collaborations, supplier engagements, and mission compliance. Partner with engineering, operations, legal, security, and executive teams to integrate regulatory requirements across product lifecycle, launches, and global expansion. Build training, policies, and monitor emerging regulatory changes.

Lead and stand up a 24/7 ICAO Annex 3–compliant aviation weather centre: hire and manage forecasters, define forecasting methods and SOPs, produce and approve METARs, TAFs, SIGMETs/AIRMETs/FPGs/SIGWx, oversee training and competency, and represent the centre to regulators and airline stakeholders.
