Assists the Bed Leader in preparing, setting up, pouring, finishing, stripping, and cleaning precast concrete production beds. Helps direct crew members, verify shop-card layouts, position steel, wood, cables, insulation, liners, and other materials, and complete final work-center checks. Ensures safety, quality, accurate construction, and timely production while performing additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Prepare shop cards, erection drawings, steel cards, bills of materials, and CAD documentation for precast concrete structures. Review drawings for accuracy, incorporate project lead redlines, coordinate detailing priorities, and support carpentry, steel, and production teams. The role is onsite at the Petersburg, Virginia plant and requires familiarity with AutoCAD and construction or precast structures.

Prepares precast concrete beds by positioning rebar, strands, forms, insulation, and related materials; cuts and ties reinforcement; prepares beds for pouring; spreads and vibrates concrete; and cleans and resets work areas after production. Follows safety and quality procedures, handles tools and materials, and maintains organized equipment and workspaces.

Entry-level Process Engineer completing industrial engineering training across production, quality control, field, and support operations. Responsibilities include process analysis, work measurement, work standards, routings, labor performance reporting, lean implementation, continuous improvement, best-practice standardization, and ad hoc reporting. The role also develops improvement projects, presents recommendations to management, and supports operational excellence across Tindall plants.

Manage precast concrete projects from post-sale through closeout, ensuring contract compliance, schedules, budgets, invoicing, and customer communication. Facilitate meetings, negotiate change orders, enforce safety and quality procedures, support production and field schedules, and complete project close-out documentation and post-mortem reviews.

Provides frontline HR support across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, payroll, HRIS maintenance, training records, compliance, and personnel reporting. Serves as a bilingual employee resource, answers routine inquiries, processes hiring and benefits documentation, maintains payroll and personnel records, and explains HR policies and employment standards. Requires strong organization, confidentiality, communication, technology proficiency, and knowledge of employment practices in a manufacturing environment.

Schedules and issues engineering and construction documents, maintains hard-copy and network files, enters shop card data into T.A.S.K. and IFS, revises and plots documents, prepares submittals, coordinates with engineers and production schedulers, manages supplies, distributes reports, and supports front desk and scheduling functions.

Applies light, medium, and heavy sandblast finishes to precast concrete panels and structural members according to customer specifications. Prepares sample panels for approval, uses sand, acid wash, and sealers, performs dry finishing, washes retarders, patches architectural concrete products, and completes other assigned production duties. Work occurs primarily outdoors in a loud manufacturing environment with exposure to weather, machinery, moisture, and vibration.

Manages the design and drafting of multiple precast concrete projects, develops engineering drawings and packages, coordinates with sales, estimating, project management, operations, customers, and field teams, and supports fabrication and construction. Performs field observations, documents repairs, resolves technical issues, mentors junior engineers and designers, and checks project work. Requires a Civil Engineering degree, Professional Engineer registration, and at least four years of related experience.

Develop and manage customer relationships in industrial markets (manufacturing, construction, energy). Generate new business, prepare accurate proposals, represent the company on bids, report activity in CRM, and support projects from initiation through handoff to project management.

Manages plant and field safety, health, and environmental programs. Design and manage engineering for complex precast concrete projects. Produce drawings and engineering packages from construction or conceptual documents, coordinate with sales, project management, plant and erectors, oversee multiple projects and junior engineers, perform field inspections and observation reports, support approvals and fabrication, and contribute to engineering standards and departmental reporting.

Prepare shop tickets and erection drawings for precast concrete structures using CAD software. Create and scrub shop cards, detail steel cards from sketches, and coordinate with Project Lead to verify and finalize drawings under Engineer Lead supervision.
