Assists the Bed Leader in preparing, setting up, pouring, finishing, stripping, and cleaning precast concrete production beds. Helps direct crew members, verify shop-card layouts, position steel, wood, cables, insulation, liners, and other materials, and complete final work-center checks. Ensures safety, quality, accurate construction, and timely production while performing additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Prepare shop cards, erection drawings, steel cards, bills of materials, and CAD documentation for precast concrete structures. Review drawings for accuracy, incorporate project lead redlines, coordinate detailing priorities, and support carpentry, steel, and production teams. The role is onsite at the Petersburg, Virginia plant and requires familiarity with AutoCAD and construction or precast structures.

Prepares precast concrete beds by positioning rebar, strands, forms, insulation, and related materials; cuts and ties reinforcement; prepares beds for pouring; spreads and vibrates concrete; and cleans and resets work areas after production. Follows safety and quality procedures, handles tools and materials, and maintains organized equipment and workspaces.
