Coordinate specialty care referrals and authorizations, verify patient demographics and insurance, prepare charts, track and document referrals in the EHR, obtain prior authorizations, schedule visits, and provide status reports while delivering customer service.

Drives a vehicle to pick up, transport and deliver supplies, lab specimens, medical records, mail, bank deposits and equipment between clinics and offices. Maintains delivery logs, vehicle upkeep, communicates schedule changes with supervisor, follows biohazard and bloodborne pathogen precautions, and provides customer service while working with minimal supervision.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdomen, pelvis, small parts, vascular), evaluates image quality, presents preliminary findings to physicians, assists in interventional procedures, maintains equipment and exam rooms, and provides patient communication and customer service.
