Operates sonographic equipment to perform abdominal, pelvic, small-parts, and vascular examinations. Explains procedures to patients, evaluates image quality, presents images and preliminary findings to physicians, assists with interventional ultrasound procedures, and maintains equipment and examination areas. Requires adherence to ACR protocols, effective communication, patient service, independent work, and accurate documentation.

Coordinates patient referrals to specialty providers, including preparing medical records, obtaining insurance authorizations, verifying benefits, tracking referrals in the EHR, maintaining patient charts, and communicating authorization outcomes. The role prioritizes urgent referrals, produces reports, supports accurate patient information, and provides professional customer service while managing multiple priorities.

Provide primary care as a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in an established internal medicine practice. Collaborate with two physicians and advanced practitioners, focusing on patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while supported by administrative and clinical staff. Maintain certification and licensure, communicate effectively with patients, and contribute to a growing practice delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
