Manages agricultural investment assets across acquisitions, operations, and dispositions. Oversees property performance, budgets, valuations, risk, financial modeling, underwriting, due diligence, stakeholder relationships, and third-party operators. Evaluates agricultural properties based on production and environmental characteristics, conducts inspections, develops operating plans, negotiates transactions, and prepares investment proposals. The role requires regular regional travel and expertise in agricultural finance, asset management, property valuation, and investment execution.

Reviews client recommendations and communications involving broker-dealer associated persons to ensure compliance with firm and regulatory expectations. Partners with business stakeholders to resolve or escalate issues, monitors risk, and maintains strong working relationships across the organization. Requires FINRA Series 7, with Series 24 preferred and obtainable within 120 days, plus a resident-state Life and Health Insurance License.

Provides legal counsel to Nuveen’s asset management and investment businesses, specializing in private fixed income investments and asset-backed securities. Advises management, negotiates contracts, assesses legal risk, interprets laws and regulations, supports disputes, and coordinates with external counsel. Preferred expertise includes project finance, investment-grade private placements, restructurings, workouts, bankruptcies, and third-party client accounts.
