Support and improve metrology equipment and test methods for optical product manufacturing. Develop training, create/maintain test documentation and fixtures, troubleshoot production issues, assist in product transfers, collaborate on root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturability and quality.

Design and develop embedded firmware and software for precision photonics instruments, including microcontroller firmware, RTOS/bare-metal systems, GUI applications, debugging with lab tools, architecture planning, documentation, production support, and mentoring junior engineers.

Assist senior engineers to improve production processes: troubleshoot assembly issues, support new product transitions, collect test and route-time data, maintain work instructions, perform incoming inspections, apply quality tools (FMEA), and help ensure ISO-compliant processes in a manufacturing environment.

Set up and operate CNC milling and turning equipment to machine precision components per inch and metric drawings. Program and run machines (G/M codes, Virtual Gibbs), inspect and measure parts, troubleshoot dimensional issues, perform routine machine maintenance, and meet production schedules and quality/safety standards.

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for accurate financial statement preparation, domestic general ledger analysis, and consolidation of subsidiary financials, along with guidance on accounting procedures and controls.

Design, optimize, and document manufacturing and test processes for lasers and photonics products. Assemble, align, and test fiber and free-space optical assemblies; perform inspections and optoelectronic testing. Support production, NPI, sustaining engineering, customer installations/training, and identify process improvements and R&D opportunities.

Support product regulatory compliance by liaising with vendors, validating component classifications (RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PFAS, Conflict Minerals), entering data into D365, determining finished-goods compliance from BOMs, partnering with Engineering and Purchasing, and responding to customer compliance requests.

Lead and manage the Application Development team responsible for custom development, integrations, automation, QA, DevOps and low-code solutions. Coordinate delivery, prioritize work, coach team members, perform hands-on development and troubleshooting, design integrations using Azure/Azure Functions/Dynamics 365/Power Platform, enforce SDLC and CI/CD best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver and support enterprise application solutions.

Design and develop high-performance optical cavities and locking technologies, lead product development from concept to production, build internal optical metrology and characterization systems, produce test documentation and reports, and provide customer-facing technical support and project coordination for optical assemblies.

Design and develop analog and digital electronics, firmware, and integrated systems for precision scientific instruments. Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, debugging, testing, vendor management, and documentation while collaborating with mechanical, optical, and software teams.

Produce high-quality graphics for the ecommerce site following established guidelines and naming conventions. Collaborate with graphic artists, science writers, and marketing to ensure consistency. Perform quality control on color correction, product placement/scale, font/template usage, and file naming/uploading under tight deadlines.

Translate customer needs into product requirements for lab electronics. Test and benchmark prototypes, build demos, author technical content, handle customer technical inquiries, capture feedback at trade shows, and maintain ERP/CRM records to support product development and customer success.

Lead and supervise a production area to meet volume, quality, and safety goals. Hire, train, and manage staff; maintain workflow, resolve quality issues, support continuous improvement, manage supplies and schedules, and partner with engineering and facilities on maintenance and process improvements.

Maintain the purchase ledger and process supplier invoices, reconcile vendor statements, prepare payment runs and remittances, assist month-end close (aging reports, reconciliations), post outgoings (credit card, expenses, petty cash) and resolve supplier queries while supporting the Accounts team.

Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components to inch and metric specifications. Read blueprints, program machines (G/M code), inspect parts, troubleshoot dimensions, perform routine machine maintenance, and support on-time deliveries while following safety and quality standards.

Operate and maintain MOCVD/MBE reactors to grow III-V epitaxial materials, characterize films (XRD, PL, Hall, CV), optimize processes, document procedures, perform development and troubleshooting, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with production and senior staff.
