Prepares audit reports, supports external audits, investigates compliance risks, contributes to annual audit planning, and monitors coding-related compliance concerns. Educates and supports coders, physicians, and providers on documentation, coding regulations, and payer requirements while maintaining current knowledge of regulatory changes.

Provides ambulatory nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses, advanced practice clinicians, and physicians. Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting vital signs, documenting health information, supporting provider visits, completing medication refills and prior authorizations, performing nursing procedures, reinforcing patient education, assisting with orders and discharges, and participating in panel management and chronic disease tracking.
