Provides payroll support for UBC Okanagan, resolving Workday payroll and benefits issues, processing journal entries, validating tax-form data, maintaining procedures, distributing confidential reports, and communicating deadlines. The role analyzes payroll incidents, recommends process improvements, supports training, liaises with HR and payroll teams, and ensures accurate, timely payroll processing. Occasional work outside regular hours may be required during strict processing deadlines.

Coordinates 24/7 campus security communications, monitors CCTV, alarms, access control, and databases, dispatches personnel, liaises with emergency services, investigates incidents, maintains records, and provides operational direction to contracted security staff. The role responds to emergencies, conducts system checks, supports patrols, prepares reports, and works rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Supervises and performs electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and fire protection system testing across student housing facilities. Organizes trade crews, assigns work, trains apprentices, responds to emergencies, prepares estimates, orders materials, maintains records, and ensures compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, permits, and university policies. Serves as the Field Safety Representative and communicates with customers and departmental stakeholders.
