The Program Manager oversees undergraduate and graduate academic programs, including admissions, advising, curriculum administration, scheduling, student funding, teaching assistantships, appointments, recruitment, orientation, and student engagement. The role interprets university policies, resolves complex student matters, analyzes program data, manages budgets and records, coordinates academic operations, and supervises program staff. It serves as a primary liaison with university partners while advising departmental leadership and improving student-service processes.

Provides high-level administrative support for Arts research centres, including student appointments, payroll and HR inquiries, onboarding, events, meetings, communications, website updates, proposal tracking, records administration, and special projects. The role requires policy knowledge, discretion, accuracy, coordination, document preparation, inquiry response, and support for faculty, staff, and students. It may also provide training and task supervision to Work Learn students.

Coordinates comprehensive HR services for Faculty of Medicine units, including recruitment, appointments, onboarding, leaves, compensation, terminations, employee relations, policy interpretation, reporting, personnel records, and EDI initiatives. Advises faculty, staff, students, managers, and administrators while ensuring compliance with legislation, collective agreements, university policies, and records requirements. Supports HR projects, develops procedures and resources, and supervises work-study students and one staff member.
