Teams at The St. James

Manages daily basketball program operations, including leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, club teams, practices, rentals, and special events. Coordinates schedules, staffing, officials, admissions, facility logistics, registrations, communications, vendors, equipment, and operational reporting. Oversees club basketball activities, supports player development and team travel, supervises part-time staff and coaches, and maintains a high-quality experience for athletes, families, teams, and guests.

Supports basketball leagues, tournaments, camps, and special events through court setup, scoreboard and scorekeeping operations, scheduling, team check-in, admissions, guest assistance, equipment maintenance, and event flow monitoring. Provides customer service to athletes, coaches, families, and visitors while helping events run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This part-time role requires flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Prepare, operate, and restore sports venues for practices, games, and events. Responsibilities include equipment assembly and minor repairs, inventory management, crowd control, ticketing, game operations, venue cleaning, scheduling oversight, league administration, digital communications, and supporting sports, events, and rental teams. The role requires sports knowledge, organization, sound judgment, communication skills, physical activity, lifting up to 65 pounds, and flexibility for irregular hours and stressful deadlines.
