Manages immigration legal training programs, curricula, trainer coordination, technical assistance, DOJ Recognition and Accreditation support, participant experience, CLE compliance, reporting, and program logistics. Conducts selected trainings, recruits subject matter experts, supports immigration legal service providers across New York State, and may supervise a training associate or intern. Requires substantive immigration legal services experience and strong facilitation, communication, relationship management, project management, and organizational skills.

The Senior Paralegal provides supervised immigration legal support to vulnerable clients, including screenings, intakes, document preparation, applications, motions, case management, and legal clinic support. The role coordinates complex projects, trains legal support staff, audits service data, improves administrative workflows, protects client information, and collaborates with attorneys, legal providers, and community organizations. Regular travel within New York State, occasional evening or weekend work, and strict compliance with attorney supervision and unauthorized-practice-of-law safeguards are required.

Provides limited-scope and occasional full-scope immigration legal services to vulnerable immigrant communities across New York State. Conducts screenings, advises clients, prepares applications and motions, supervises paralegals and legal assistants, reviews legal work, supports rapid-response initiatives, develops training materials, collects service data, and collaborates with legal providers and community organizations.

Oversee and supervise a statewide network of limited-scope immigration legal services and clinics; directly supervise staff and contract attorneys; review and file asylum, SIJS, TPS, and EOIR filings; draft procedures, training materials, and community resources; manage data collection and reporting; coordinate with partners and stakeholders; provide direct legal advice as needed; travel regularly across New York State.

Lead statewide civic engagement strategy including voter engagement, civic education, census/redistricting work, and REMAP NYS program. Supervise and mentor staff, manage partnerships and grants, develop trainings and multilingual materials, lead NYIC Action electoral analysis and endorsements (20-30% time), represent the organization, and support fundraising, communications, and rapid response efforts. Hybrid NYC role with regular statewide travel.

Provide on-the-ground limited-scope and occasional full-scope immigration legal services across New York State; supervise four staff; coordinate clinics; train volunteers; manage data collection and reporting; liaise with partners; ensure trauma-informed, ethical representation and high-quality, culturally responsive services.

Lead immigrant rights policy portfolio to end state support for detention and deportation; develop and implement state and local legislation; provide policy analysis, rapid response, coalition representation, communications, and support fundraising and supervision as needed.
