Administer multi-state payroll and employee benefits for approximately 800 employees. Responsibilities include payroll processing, tax withholding, garnishments, benefit enrollment, billing reconciliation, vendor and broker coordination, ACA compliance, W-2 reporting, audits, and payroll and benefits reporting. The role also supports wellness initiatives, maintains confidential records, resolves discrepancies, and improves payroll and benefits processes.

Supports organization-wide HR operations, including employee relations, investigations, workers’ compensation, payroll audits, benefits, leave administration, HRIS accuracy, compliance audits, and policy enhancements. Advises managers and employees, maintains confidential records, supports onboarding and offboarding, coordinates with vendors, and mentors HR team members. The role requires multi-state HR expertise and occasional travel among company locations.

Maintains accounting records, processes accounts payable and receivable, records retail and wholesale sales, performs bank and credit card reconciliations, supports budgeting, financial close, audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role also assists with accounting policy implementation, workflow improvements, and general finance operations in a regulated cannabis industry.
