Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for the New Albany mill, handling full-cycle onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, employee relations, compliance tracking, local recruiting, and HR systems administration (ADP). Partner with Head of People to implement policies and translate materials in English and Spanish while maintaining regular presence on the production floor.

Lead design, optimization, and continuous improvement of mill material flow and equipment sequencing across sawmill, planer, and engineered wood facilities. Manage process engineering team, execute mill layouts, automation upgrades (scanning, PLCs, MES), time studies, line balancing, kiln-drying integration, and capital projects to maximize recovery, throughput, and efficiency.

Designs and optimizes material flow, equipment layouts, production sequencing, and automation across sawmill and engineered wood facilities. Conducts bottleneck analysis, time studies, OEE analysis, capacity modeling, and lean improvement initiatives. Partners with production, maintenance, and capital projects teams on equipment installations, mill reconfigurations, modernization, commissioning, and documentation. Requires hands-on mill-floor work and extensive wood products manufacturing experience.

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of sawmill machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and power transmission. Read blueprints, conduct preventative maintenance, operate hoisting equipment, perform welding and bearing alignments, document repairs, and minimize downtime to support production.

The Production Associate will support sawmill operations through production line assistance, materials handling, quality checks, and maintaining a safe work environment.

The Vice President of Engineering leads TLM's engineering strategy, overseeing system architecture, technology roadmap, and the execution of complex hardware-software systems in manufacturing and logistics.

Inspect, grade, sort, and mark lumber per industry standards (NHLA/ALS). Record grading data, operate grading tools, communicate with production staff, maintain safety and quality in an industrial sawmill environment.
