Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for the New Albany mill, handling full-cycle onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, employee relations, compliance tracking, local recruiting, and HR systems administration (ADP). Partner with Head of People to implement policies and translate materials in English and Spanish while maintaining regular presence on the production floor.

Lead design, optimization, and continuous improvement of mill material flow and equipment sequencing across sawmill, planer, and engineered wood facilities. Manage process engineering team, execute mill layouts, automation upgrades (scanning, PLCs, MES), time studies, line balancing, kiln-drying integration, and capital projects to maximize recovery, throughput, and efficiency.

Support day-to-day IT for a growing team: manage laptop and asset lifecycle, user account provisioning, endpoint security and access management, build workflow automations and documentation, troubleshoot network/hardware, and partner with IT Infrastructure & Security Manager on escalations.
