Oversee and implement park health and safety programs, conduct inspections and training, respond to incidents and alarms, patrol grounds, coordinate emergency response, manage safety records, and support guest and animal safety across shifts and events.

Lead and mentor animal care staff to provide daily husbandry, training, behavioral management, habitat maintenance, and guest-facing programs for African Safari animals (giraffe, painted dogs, hoofstock, birds). Ensure AZA/USDA standards, safety protocols, staff training, project leadership, and emergency response while performing physical animal care duties and maintaining animal and habitat wellbeing.

Lead and manage the Learning & Community Engagement team to design, deliver, and evaluate conservation-focused educational programs, outreach, camps, and partnerships. Oversee staffing, budgets, grants, and program effectiveness while representing the organization to schools, community partners, media, and at events. Promote inclusion, informal STEM/NGSS learning, and conservation stewardship across diverse audiences.

Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward high-capacity donors to secure major philanthropic gifts for capital campaign projects. Conduct frequent donor interactions, manage cultivation events, maintain donor records, represent the organization publicly, and support strategic development initiatives and conservation engagement.
