Provide classroom substitution for deaf and hard-of-hearing students using ASL/English bilingual methods. Maintain classroom environment, implement lesson plans, collect and document data, manage behavior and safety, communicate with parents and staff, and perform delegated medical or physical tasks as needed. Uphold confidentiality and flexibility to meet student needs.

Provide direct care and supervision for residential deaf youth, implement treatment plans, support daily living and behavior management, maintain certifications (PART, Pro-Act, OSHA, CPR, First Aid), communicate student information to staff, transport and supervise students (including swimming), and perform delegated medical or medication tasks as needed.

Lead and supervise Walden School educational programming for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, oversee IEP development and staff performance, coordinate with clinical/residential teams and external agencies, manage budgets and materials, implement discipline, and ensure trauma-informed, individualized instruction and collaboration with families and partner agencies.

Coordinate and oversee state-mandated testing (MCAS, ACCESS, ACT/SAT), ensure DESE/DOE compliance, train staff, manage testing logistics and reporting, and support deaf/hard-of-hearing students mainstreaming in local public schools through collaboration, observation, scheduling, accommodations, and family/IEP communication.

Lead and assure quality of clinical services at Walden School: supervise, train, and evaluate clinicians; oversee assessments, treatment plans, IEP compliance, therapy, and milieu treatment; coordinate with school and residential leaders; recruit staff; provide clinical supervision and training; participate in admissions/referral, on-call duties, occasional student transport, and liaison work with agencies.
